In regards to the spoilerino title: one way to fix low views on arena runs is with better marketing. There are several examples out there where our original, edited video has FAR less views than an unedited video uploaded by one of those copy/paste hearthstone vod channels because they advertise them as the outstanding runs they are while we try to come up with clever titles that don't spoil the outcome. Literally talking about double the views here. So we discussed a bit and it seems like me trying to always be a goody two shoes on youtube is actively hurting the channel. I get that knowing the end result of games may make it less enjoyable for some but the numbers out there proof that by advertising the video properly a lot more people are attracted to the video. If knowing the outcome would really be so detrimental surely those videos wouldnt be doing better than ours so we are giving this a shot.
EDIT: And its not like we will put the exact results of every run into the title but outstanding achievements will be notet. 12-0 is just one stetp above getting 12 wins.

You can say the run is "good" without spoiling the exact win/loss total. I feel like this shows a real lack of respect for the existing audience.

Heres the thing. It isn't that Trump is being greedy it's that he wants to protect his assets. Other hearthstoners new or old are climbing in views and subscribers steadily, possibly faster than Trump. In order to not be left behind and left obsolete, forced into obscurity, they want to take action now and try to cater to a new audience while also maintaining the old tried and true viewers.
Alright boys, grab your popcorn and sit back, this is gonna be a long a bumpy arguement about title spoilers B-)

People think spoilers are way worse than they are.
Spoilers don't actually ruin things most of the time. Often times spoilers even enhance the experience, just like watching something a second time.
You are able to focus on *how* it happend, since you don't have to focus on *what* happens that much.
Of cause this is not true for everyone and everything, but my theroy is that the better the content, the more true this is.
Not true at all. It always depends on the individual, no matter how good the content is.
I know a group of board gamers; I sometimes join them (once or twice a year). I played some really fun / startegic / interesting board games. Definitely another kind of hobby that is on the nerdy side, but nerdy things are the most fun in this world.

I fully agree that once a week is more than enough, I do once a month and don't get sick (unless its flew season or something then wash it every day by all means). With that said washing it in general think about it this way if you had a cup only you use would you wash it? Do you not wash your dishes? It seems like common sense you need to wash it sometimes!

Here's my two cents. If you don't mind watching videos with this sort of title, then by all means, please go ahead. For those who can't, supporting Trump/Jens by watching his videos on twitch instead might be an idea. That way, you aren't spoiled as to the result, and Trump/Jens still benefit. One downside would be that you would have to manually click to each arena battle as it's not edited by Jens on twitch.

The festival was such free wins I had an awful paladin deck that went 12-2 and i got a priest to 11-3 without playing a mage.
I played Terraforming Mars. To be honest, it wasn't my favorite Euro game since there was so little interaction with other players. It was all about moving my own little cubes around my own little player board.
Board Games are dope as fuck though.

I was surprised by the title, but I'm not sitting here thinking it ruined the video(s) at all. They're the same dude, the same game. More often than not I have videos on in the background. I figured this 12-0 title is a unique thing for the outro of UnGoro, which is fine. I would be slightly irked if the results were displayed in every title, however, the video is no different at all. For me.

I just saw Trump Cards 394 with Jens big explanation. I checked the numbers - yes, they look terrible for a famous streamer like Trump. However, I do not think arena runs are the problem - the problem is that they are only arena runs as Hearthstone content. I have been following Trump since I started playing the game(exactly 2 years ago) and it seems he is growning tired of it? They used to be so much HS content - F2P runs, Constructed videos, Highlights, Arena. Now he only plays arena as he doesn't enjoy Constructed anymore. I remember after One Night in Karazhan he didn't upload any HS content for months, only Civ 6. After Mean Streets the same. After Un'Goro he tried different decks for like 5 minutes and stopped playing constructed again.
At the end he should play whatever he wants but a channel with so much Darkest Dungeon and barely any Hearthstone cannot pretend for Number 2 place. Just my thoughts, maybe the new format will work.

I understand doing what you have to for the sake of the channel. And I appreciate that you're trying out uploading full arena runs again, at the potential risk of fewer views. And I'm REALLY sorry to hear that parasitic VOD compilation channels are eating up your views. But I echo the sentiments of many here (aware I may just be a part of a vocal minority) - for me, spoiling the result of the run really ruins the entire appeal of watching this video. Go ahead with more exciting, "click-bait" titles if you think it will help, but please, please don't spoil the score if you can avoid it.

Want a pro tip? put 12-0 in the title regardless of the outcome. That way you can both have clickbait and not have a spoiler.
people forget in the end you-tube is a business as is twitch, instead of mocking their efforts to attract more people to come watch their videos we tear it down. I propose that 9 plus or more be the arena games to showcase in their entire scope. Games that are interesting despite that should have its own video. Jens, Trump take a poll on a website to gather some much needed intel to appease the majority, because you will not get every ones blessing. I think imo the transparency you both offer makes me come back despite all the comments, because many youtubers get paid on promotions or never disclose their actual ties to games or companies, Such as CSGo scam

Jens you should start flagging channels that steals your content, they are basically copy pasting your videos and that should be illegal with terms of service.

When I read the 12-0 I thought it was a prank and was expecting it to be a 0-3 video. 0-3 videos are not interessting. I'd rather see trump win, so to have the results displayed is actually a change I'd appreciate.

Just as a little insight to people claiming that caring so much about the views is "Money Hungry". These videos is Jens only source of income (As far as we know). Trump himself may make a lot more additional money from twitch, but Jens is paid a percentage of the revenue from these videos. More then likely before all this trying to reinvent the channel stuff started Jens talked to trump and told him something like "I can barely afford to pay rent, if this continues I will have to find some other work". Please, just try to be open minded. I have grown quite fond of Jens over the years, and I would hate for him to have to stop doing something he appears to love so much solely because we're stubborn.
People are pissed because a man wants to better his situration. People are complaining that their free entertainment isn't made specificly for them.
I hope people in this comment section at some point realizes how spoiled (all the puns intended) they sound..
