    Holy moley...drove home freezing because the blower quit...slapped the motor, jiggled the connection and voila!!! Back in business...was freaking out 3 days before chrismas! You saved the day!

  • @parksrez-orlandoareaparksa9640

    went through all the fuses that didnt work. Then I went under the glove box and slapped the blower and wiggled the connector and that worked! Thanks for the help!

      Same issue. This was a big money saver. I had checked all the fuses but not the connector on the motor.

      Lmaoooo yup, some percussive maintenance just did the trick. And the shop wanted 300$ just to diagnose what was wrong 😅

    Thank you for the in-depth video. My daughter had no heat, and of course it quit working when it was 15 degrees outside! Ended up being the plug on the blower motor was loose. Thanks you!

    Wow thank you so much for that slap the blower and wiggle the wire trick! Checked the fuses and they were fine and was totally lost. You saved the day!

    Absolute legend. Tapped the blower motor under passenger side (had no idea there was accessible stuff down there) and it kicked on! Hoping it was just a small connection problem that doesn’t warrant any further action. With temperatures approaching 100 degrees, I am very glad I found this video. Thanks!

    Great video if I knew ANYTHING about fuses, grounds and resisters 😂 but it'll be super helpful for my brother when he fixes my blower!

    So I hit the blower motor and it turned on and then it will eventually shut off again and I have to hit it again to turn it back on, does that mean the blower motor itself is bad?

  • @martinsean06

    Hey. The green 40 volt cap is cracked on the inside. Will this cause the ac not to blow out.

    So my blower works and blows but my button to turn the AC on doesn't engage when I press it same thing with the max ac button I get nothing is it a fuse issue you think I just replaced the ones under the hood should I now replace/check the ones near the steering wheel

    I just replaced my motor blower and motor blower resistor in my 2010 hyundai elantra. the a/c works fine excepts i’m the 3rd fan speed. The 1st 2nd and 4th does work but not the 3rd. Can someone explain what the problem could be. Thanks

    OK, I have a 2013 elentra and the connection between the blower and power connector fried, I replace the connector and the blower only comes on when I turn it to the 4 position....but the ac lights shut off, if I turn it back to 1, 2, and 3 fan position the ac lights come on but no blower, I can get the blower and the ac to work by turning the nob to between the 3 and 4 position and it only blows at one high speed?????????????? thoughts

      I have the same issue did you dort it out?

    • @frankrandazzo4975
      @frankrandazzo4975 Před 3 lety +2

      @@chfBiggs I did figure it out, the problem was the blower motor resistor, there is a fusible link that was shorted out, so I soldered
      it back together and it worked perfectly.

    Is blower motor different from the cooling fan.

    • @bbateman9831
      @bbateman9831 Před 9 měsíci

      Yes the cooling fan cools the engine and is in the engine compartment front grill. The blower fan cools the interior. The blower motor cools the interior and occupants
