I really like the 4.1L I6 from the older Roamer variants that had that engine from the factory, but what I find kind of odd about it is despite the fact it’s a gasoline engine, it sounds like a diesel for some reason.
I get what you mean. It just lacks the usual diesel knock you might find in older diesels like that (newer ones do have it, just takes time to develop). I find it to be an underrated engine. Who knows, might make it onto the next list :)

If I had to pick one out from the rest, it'd have to be the 88 Pessima. I feel its the perfect blend of a durable, fun and relatively fast car.

The 6.5 liter engine, with stage 3 supercharger in a red-tail, in caged mode is satisfying to listen to
