  • Thanks to Brian Horton at Cabin fever productions who has made this song so gorgeous.
Thankyou Lin Umstead for the beautiful harp and Caleb Cox for the most haunting Ullienne pipe and low whistle. The sounds you have produced are spine tingling.
Its been such an honour to work with you and I'm so grateful for you efforts.

According to the pictures that are on the video while the lyrics were sung, I totally got that it meant the incestful love Jaime has for Cersei, because when that part was sung, the picture of Jaime holding Cersei was transmitted. That's what I got from it ;)

I actually agree with you Laura. I don't think true love is ever a choice we make, as long as both parties consent and aren't hurting anyone then why do we need to care? Let people love for goodness sake, we should me more concerned about all the violence and war in the world rather than who people are finding happiness with. We are all here for such a short time, no one should be denied love because it doesn't fall into our 1950's idea of "wife + husband".

This.Should.Be.Opening.Or.Ending. Nuff said. If Martin saw your channel he surely should do something about it...he and the others. Like hire you or buy it off you and the other band and play it. It made tears appear in my eyes. It's exquisite. "younger's armour is worn in his mind"

Only the truth and I'm not surprised. I've listened to most of Dornishman's Wife versions out here and yours fits the story the best. It is as you said song of violence and sex. It should have raw note to it...and has medieval ring to it as well. It sounds accurate to the times.

The lyrics give away a lot if you're just about to start watching the series. maybe if the started the lyrics in the second season. Amazing amazing voice and lyrics though.

    How about this:
    “A cold Iron Throne
    Forged by kings overthrown”
Refers to the Targaryens who conquered Westeros only to be usurped.

Wow, what a beautiful comment. It makes my heart swell to read how much you and your wife like the song. I'm truly touched and Im sure the rest of the band will be as well. I did write the lyrics yes and even though I've sent hbo an email about the song but never heard back. I guess they get a lot of mail about Game Of Thrones.
