She hides from him then clings to her dad. He did the right thing not forcing himself on a child who is obviously feeling shy.
Look again. Check the bodylanguage and face, she's just about to say something as she realises he's talking to Jamo and not her. She also goes over to Jamo to stand with him but Carey pulls her back. Willow has been on almost every stage and arena on the tour, waving and doing acrobatics in front of millions of people so that girl is not shy in any shape or form.
