Reminds me of something my mama used to make but she will cut the bacons then finely Shred the cabbage and then add Asian seasonings to it.. Eat it over some jasmine rice. Yum! Definitely will try this

I use kelbasa instead of bacon and I do rice and kelbasa too, mmmmmm, it all looks good..

I make Haluski..cabbage covered with water and lid until soft in frying pan.
Then dough-1 egg 2 cups flour-small amount of Luke warm water until combined. Roll out. J use a 2 liter bottle top to cut out dough. Drop in boiling water for about 5 minutes, it will float when done. Mix with buttered cabbage.
I've also added cooked beef Kaelbasa.
I'm going to try your recipe but adding the dough.

I didn't even taste cabbage until I was about 20 years old. Now I love it any which way you can cook it or raw. I fry mine in butter, salt and pepper and then add some carnation evaporated milk. My mother called it Tennessee cabbage. It's yummy. I'm going to make your recipe for sure. I have a big old cabbage sitting in my refrigerator right now.

Ive had this recipe of yrs for years & I love it. (The ORIGINAL that is). I just wish it wld stay the same. I have lost my copy a cpl times in the past & Ive found it hard to locate the original basic recipe. I love the variations too but I really like the original to have as a base. Thank you for sharing yr own recipes with all of us. Every single one that I have tried was good too! Yummy!😋Even the simple Oreo Cookie Dessert. The one yr husband had to talk you into sharing. Yr son & husband knew what they were talking about.👍
