I wish some people in my area would quit Spark! 😜 I sit and sit waiting for offers and rarely get anything worth doing. I was talking to one of the OGs at my store the other day (she and her husband do Spark full-time), she said they recently counted 40 drivers and at least 14 of them were new. We live in a small town so that seems like way too many.
Find out where their GPS unit is and park as close to it as you can. It's all location based. I make about 150 to 200 a day. It's a pretty driver saturated area.

Spark is full up in my area lol and Amazon flex is offering $67 for 100-150 miles of driving 3;30 hour block. Doordash is about $5 for 3 miles or 10 for 6 miles. So I stick to using DD on busy days.

I quit because I’m not accepting bs orders where they don’t want to tip. They can go pick up their own food. Furthermore, gas is going up again. I’ll leave ,y car parked at home. I’m lookin for another side hustle.

Thank you for this! You have reminded me why I started Spark and how much fun it was and still is. Yes, we have dead times. Yes, there are people who cheat the system in my location. Yes, they give low-priced orders. HOWEVER, I have met some great people, I do get great orders, and this does pay my bills. I appreciate you.

Spark pays the most. Shipt customers tip better ! If they don’t tip on shipt spark is better
I feel so blessed to come across your channel!! I'm loving Spark! Only been doing it for a few days but I 100% agree - the earnings I've made, I'd have to REALLY hustle with DD to come even close! I AN grateful to GOD opening the door to DD for me because it opened up the door to other gig opportunities. I'm in a small rural area but I still get more offers sent to me with Spark than DD.

Yesterday I broke the 2k a month mark. Idk why people quit. I'm making on avg 23 an hr with no hs diploma and no drug test. "Herbs are legal here but employer's still test"
Because of all the scamming with the apps is why people are giving up on the gigs
I went out a few weeks ago and the pay was not worth it, Taking another break since I'm really busy with my business. We shall see if it gets better when I go out again next month.
@@MichiganderGirl yes the pay has gone downhill bad, but there are still some good paying offers here and there but if your area is saturated with cheaters/scammers they are the ones grabbing all of the good orders with bots and fake accounts while you get all the trash offers . You will happen to notice some good offers when they are not around already active with orders or if they turn off the bots !

I'm quitting because I'm at Gold status and he tells me oh you're going to get high paying orders and then it comes through for $4.75 that is not a high paying order especially with gas prices are here in Arizona😅😅😅 an Uber eats every time you drop an order off it only pays you like $2.75 ridiculous😅 I'm looking for a regular job
I used to do spark when they only had 2 drop offs. Ever since they added the 3 for some reason i havent been able to do it. Been back to DD. Cant even make $70 a day with DD. I am at 82 percent. Maybe time to look at spark again.

That was the reason I switched to a truck rather than a car. But the truth is that I haven’t seen much correlation between higher orders with a truck versus a car.

It's getting time to retire my 18 year old car for a much younger one and was curious if going a bit larger would increase give me higher paying offers but I guess not. Thanks for the info 👍... and family time here and there DEFINITELY outweighs money in the long run. 😀
As to the comment to try other platforms easier said then done lol I was on spark waiting list for 2 months and still on waiting lists for Amazon flex and rodie so it's easier said then done but do love your channel

When I first started uber eats everything was great but the longer I've been delivering for them the less I started making. I use to make 200/300 a day, now I can't make a 100.
Sure doesn't seem to make sense, but yeah once I reached "diamond status" I am no longer getting those decent- great offers I used to get. All my regulars I had (3-5) that tipped well Uber Eats took all of them away from me? What kind of business model is that? Customers were happy, I was happy, and Uber was getting paid.

Gigging for Spark and Instacart has given me the opportunity to meet some really wonderful and sometimes interesting people but my most rewarding trips are to the people in assisted living/nursing facilities and to the disabled who can’t shop for themselves!! I signed up for spark because of your positivity and encouragement!! So, please know you are making a difference! 😊
I tried Spark yesterday and while it was fun, everything was so far it wasn’t worth the money. I drove 70 miles and made $22. 😂 I turned down one order for $45 but it was all over the place, 50+ miles. Maybe in more urban areas it works but not sure I’ll stay with it
Wow! That’s insane. I usually make $25ish with only driving 5-8 miles! I’m not even in a super urban area. I’m in the state capital but Concord NH is only like 40k people lol

@@oreotcat Omg how random is that?!? Yeah Stick to Walmart. Go park in the lot to wait for orders. I can usually make $100+ in 4-5 hours. Home Depot is rarely worth it.

Yesterday I made $150 in 6 hours, mostly 4 stop 3 delivery curbside offers, 45 miles total
I turned down some well paying curbside offers as the mileage was too high
When the mileage is too high I won't make it back to Walmart for the next round of round robin offers between 20 to 40 minutes after each hour on average in my market
One of my curbside offers changed from 45 minutes after the hour to 5 minutes after the next hour, and was loaded 10 minutes late, so when I got back to Walmart all the good offers had already been accepted
Offers not accepted were 14 to 16 plus mile round trip 2 and 3 stops which started at $8, and went as high as $16 before they disappeared
I walked the store, and got a $29 easy to shop 27 item shopping offer, with a delivery address only 2 miles from Walmart
I'm trying to keep the mileage off my vehicles, and get back to Walmart stores quicker, so I've changed my acceptance strategy as proximity matters so much in my markets
Alot of OG's just tired of the BS I do part time and only do extremely good offers from any gig app usually like $25+
Major issue with spark is the tip baits or adjustments extrmely common with curbside orders and rsreoy on shop orders. Sadly for me shop orders I only do $40+ with atleast $15+ in tips or i qould just prefer curbside

Yes I enjoy your videos! Yes I love to make money doing gig work - who doesn't. However I also complain for valid reasons. Such as when I got on Spark the first week the money was great- Now folks are using BOTS snatching orders ir the orders won't populate because they stole the orders. They have 2 phones and working as a team 10 people in a group you can see. Now I'm hardly making money looking for a regular job. Which is crazy because I love what I do- I enjoy the freedom. I'm working too damn hard not even hitting a 100.00 daily. Greed is something else- it's crazy it's killing the gig game for honest people

I’m between Spark and Instacart in my area. The only problem I have with Spark is batch orders with 10+ deliveries that aren’t paying that good. I live in a college town and these are the types of orders I have been getting.
For sure, it has been paying the bills. The extra income definitely made a difference.

Spark steals tips. Twice now I have been given money weeks and then months later saying there was a “glitch” and tips werent paid out like they should of been lol. Spark pays way less then even a year ago and now with 3 drop offs paying less then what they used to pay for 2 drop offs is ridiculous. Walmart spark is shady, dont trust them at all. How much more money of mine and anyone elses do they really have and havent paid out yet 🤔🤔🤯🤯🤬

Walmart in my market is delivered by Doordash and of course the pay sucks. Oh I'm in Canada.
Walmart in my zone does not / refuses to id.. We are overrun with asylees and regular everyday spoofer scammers. If you aren't spoofing you only get the worst offers if you get anything.
It goes by location, might be good in your area but spark sucks in pittsburgh.

I would keep your top dasher status. Spark doesn’t give 2 craps about how well you do your job. They care about who will take disrespectfully low orders. I’ve been doing this since my zone launched 2 years ago and it’s not worth it anymore.

It’s fun at first but once you’re hooked they bring on new drivers that get all the orders. I’ve been doing it for 2 years and I’m ready to quit.

I was too!! I kept emailing the company asking about my activation. I don’t know if this truly helps but I must have sent 15 emails over 3 months. Sometimes the wait time just takes a long time.

DD doesn’t pay well, Spark does. I do both in my area
Doordash has been dead in AK since Jan 2024. Making 25-200% more at Dominoes but they also work me 300% harder.
On average how many hours do you have to work to make $100?
Typically 4 1/2 gets me to $100! Although, gig work can vary. I usually get to that number within 4 to 5 orders.
I don't mind people quitting these apps
Its not meant to be a full time job and it ruins your vehicle .

@Missippidashing I do spark sir and at least in my area tip baiting is very common. Like every week or 2 someone lowers there tip or takes it away and it has nothing to do with my service. Instacart however I haven't been tip baited in over 6 months. Sure I can refuse service to tip baiters but there's a ton of them on spark and Walmart will do nothing about it. So I only casually do it.

Am i the only one that thinks walmart is jacking us drivers. Seems the bigger the trip, the less the delivery charge
I'm in it to win it;
Many in my home markets of 4 busy Walmart stores are easily discouraged, largely due to over-saturation, crews working out of single vehicles and other issues, however we need more being discouraged to reduce the numbers of Spark workers
Many are discouraged as they're not hustlers, they won't walk the stores to get offers, and they're too picky about the offers that they accept
We have a massive wave of new Spark workers in my home markets, however relatively few of them last long
Spark went down, last year I used to get paid $34-40 down to $11-15 over saturated amount of drivers
lol you thank sparks still pays good you think doing 3 deliveries for under $10 is good money in what world do you live in I spark in California gas prices are almost $6 an you say the orders are consistent yea sure you have 20 drivers at the store waiting for maybe 10 orders that comes out there is two sides to blame to this one blame spark for oversaturating the zones with drivers and two blame these drivers that accept these low offers. They are sending the standard for what spark is going to want to pay us. I think it’s time for everyone to stop driving for Spark
