This was shown in the late 1980's, a programme called "Star Test" where each week a different Celebrity would be asked questions by a computer.
This was the best one featuring Stephen Fry, it was originally televised on Friday early Evenings, and then repeated in the early hours of Saturday morning, this is the night time version.

Ahahha; I've seen French & Saunders do a spoof on this - so fun to see Stephen here (looking particularly adorable). Many thanks for sharing. xo

Thanks for sticking this on! I knew I wasn't imagining it. I've spent ages trying to find out what it was called. I'm sure I remember one of the girls from Bananarama answering "that's non of your business!"

I ADORE Stephen Fry! He reminds me of a bit of a modern day Oscar Wilde, which is something he likely tries hard to embody! :)

Probably someone that's not a celebrity, might be an academic or something like that.

@mindingosafado Yeah, sorry, fair enough. But the only reason I've seen fry and laurie is because I love stephen fry and I looked him up. I was born in 1995 so I am in pretty much the same position (I only see him in House on the TV really) but he just looks english, he is english and he couldn't be anything else!! :)

Maybe he was bored sitting down or had an ache or maybe he realised that since he didn't have to engage with eye contact or the usual face to face interactions because he was communicating with a screen, maybe he decided to have a look around (many people walk around when on their phones or a computer call) or he could have been feeling awkward or wanted show more presence or like a friend of mine who doesn't like sitting for long, perhaps he simply doesn't like sitting for long.
There could be many answers but we will most probably never know.
      🙂
