- Well is the 2nd and much better flight of the FMS Rafale 80mm and this time with the ordinance one. The FMS Rafale 80mm flies amazing with or with ordinance. This 80mm edf just wants to high alpha almost on its own! I am very pleased with the FMS Rafale 80mm sent to me from HobbyZone.

Yea I agree 110% with the comment'r who said to get the thrust tube nozzles! It made such a huge difference in mine all around the throttle response! Wasn't bad priced, like $25 including shipping. RC Geek makes them when needed. I used foamtac on mine & let sit overnight.
It compresse the exhaust right?
Looks like it flew great. We appreciate when you show the battery location. Seems like some CZcamsrs don’t bother. They would rather just show off their flying skills

When I flew mine, (6s/4000 smart) I went as far back as I could go. Shame u gotta destroy it to remove/get rid of the mixing board. $6 apparatus from horizon.

OH, I just remembered! 'Crow' is supposed to be used, according to fms, 'only for slowing down on the ground'.

Do you think that nose gear can take a bumpy tightly mowed grass field ? My FMS Viper couldn’t. I bent the gear on the 15th Anniversary model. Thinking of putting the old style nose gear in it . Maybe it would take the bumps better?. I’m gonna call you Mr. Butter. Smooth landings and nice flights . Love your channel, some of our brother pilots spend more time gloating and flying like idiots , definitely can tell they aren’t buying there planes. You get upset when you crash , the ones that laugh while flying like a typical stick smasher with more expo and high rates well beyond what the book calls for turns me off. Keep doing what your doing . I’m so glad you are sponsored now. Rates , battery voltage and placement, flight time , and expo and of course camera lady. You got it going on. 😊

As far as the Viper the only way to protect that front impact on the nose gear would be to find that sweet spot of flaring and holding off that touch down as long as possible. EASIER said than done especially given the Vipers tendency to drop a wing when to slow in ground effect.
I have issues with take off on grass. So it’s marginal at best. Front wheel is small
