Fantastic Sir. You are one of the few who has extremely skilled, knowledgeable and honest. Very polite and a good teacher without any attitude. Unfortunately now days there are many flute trainer/ teachers who does not have the quality of a good guide. They don't understand the importance of inspiration, motivation. With limited knowledge about the swar, sruti they provide training at very low price. This will never help the leaner rather confuse their attempt. If you go to them for guidance, the first readymade thing they comment is that your basic is wrong.your finger position is wrong, your blowing is incorrect immediately before listening him thoroughly. Nothing is impossible. Learners have to keep patience and it takes time. In my opinion there is a difference between music sadhna and Riaz. If follow certain readymade Riaz notation copied from others will help to some extent but it will make you a music player with many limitations. As an artist your creative and innovative quality get hampered. What is your take on this Sir.
Right from the relea se of those songs, i was amazed with the beautiful ,sublime use of flute . Thanks to the group concerned for exposing the god gifted pandit ji. Certainly Ramu da,,' s flute has elevated the level of the songs to immortal heights. RDs genius was that he knew how to extract the best from his companion and what to use at what time ,by whom. In 42:00 minutes it's like Indian bumble bee, awesome playing sir, I've learned a lot from watching your videos... i.e. uses of tongue ,lowering flute in high octaves and high in low notes... I'm still confused about how to use C Maj over a E Todi...
