As someone who got Masters this season but has played on multiple lower elo accounts (I have essentially played in every elo except Iron and Grandmaster-Challenger), in both top and jungle, I will way more confident picking utility champions in high elo In high elo, if I get a lane ahead, around 90% of the time they can do something with the lead. They won't just perma shove waves and watch the enemy farm. That's why as a jungler, I am very willing to sacrifice a bit of farm for a gank to get my teammate ahead or keep them safe from the enemy jungler. Similarly for top, post 10, I'm very willing to TP bot after getting prio for a play and occasionally, if the enemy has really bad push, if they recall and then I get to shove a wave, I move from top for first drake at around 5:30. We get drake from numbers advantage and possibly play and win a fight, and then I TP top. I give my TP to help other lanes and get drake, not to help myself. I'm fine being a bit behind. I'm also really fine playing tanks, and that's what I often do when I see the carries only comps like Kindred Vlad Kai'Sa Lulu that need a frontline. In lower elo, I almost never play like that. As a jungler I almost always full clear and as a top I rarely move unless I get a free mid move, though I won't stay long. I'm not willing to give up gold and xp for my teammates. I don't play tanks. Essentially, I just play for myself and rely on myself, and you can't do that as well on utility picks.
Bro I hit diamond this season was gonna try to hit masters but I’m hard stuck emerald 4 now. Was a hecarim otp and I hit it a few weeks ago, seems like I forgot what got me there
You have to play carry jg in low elo because your teammates cant play the game so you have to use them as meatshields. When I played jarvan and gave my ashe 3 kills and a rift herald she proceeded to die 2v2 3 times in a row. After this I got ptsd and lost 20 games in a row 😂 jk
Had a friend (who was genuinely quite bad, probs silver in all roles) but he picked up Eve jungle and was diamond within 6 months, low elo players simply cannot play/plan around the invisibility - once he perfected his clear and simply made it so that he got a good play every gank he was unstoppable, sometimes he’d switch to normals on another role and play with us gold/silvers and he would feed heavy.. showing there are defo champs that can dominate low elo due to their nature. I used to have similar success with twitch jungle when it was meta, I’d finish red buff then path through mid and I’d get a first blood kill 75% of the time, flash and lost waves for them the other 25%
I ain't gonna lie I just started to climb on my hard stuck account and I couldn't climb with my utility pucks like vi or noc I can only carry with Graves, kindred, ekko, eve.
Climbed from Iron 4 to plat playing Yi. He kind of sucks early against anyone who can CC you with fast AS like Noct or WW but once you rush bork you can contest any objective and dive with W or Q escape. Insane late game as the lower elo games can be 30-45 minutes. If you fall behind it is more difficult but you can farm hard to get back.
I got masters from silver in about a year with qiyana she is actually kinda freaky in the jgl if you get your one shot combos and use your brain! Glhf everyone :D
If you are good at playing and understand the game you will climb it doesnt matter what champ you play. If you really hardstuck take moment to learn something about the game or take a choaching session. I promise you will not get out the rank you are stuck in just by changing champ. complete non sense tier list.
Just queue and run ap malphite ,lethality poppy , nocturne,rengar and just run around the map one taping stuff don't care about the win or loss just squeeze the most fun you can from the most unfun game
