Yeah, Hirez needs to make stronger penalties for abandoning games. The fact that you only loose goodwill in normal games is stupid. Like normals arent playable because 70% of the games you will have a leaver in either team.
They’re gonna have sooo much balancing to tackle if they continually rework every god. I like the idea just seems as if they’re biting off more than they can chew.
I'm here for it. Imo it's almost kind of fun having some super broken shit for a little while and hirez does updates so often that it usually isn't an issue for long
With the god pool shrinking as much as it is on release I think it’ll be easier than it sounds. Each successive god release from smite 1 will only have a few tweaks in comparison to creating a whole new god, both of which can be done faster in unreal 5. I think it’d be too much if it was the full 120+ god pool, but with ~50 (I forgot how many they said would be playable for launch tbh) I think it’s significantly more manageable

I was that bacchus! I suck at conquest, but it's nice to be part of smite 2 early days.
I dislike conquest, but even so, I had to play smite 2 for myself even if I can't get into slash or joust matches atm

It will take time to get used to, and the ui isn't great but it feels pretty good

I just played a bit of smite 2 i know its in the alpha but , its not smooth whatsoever , u cant really understand whats going on , had a few bugs going on but thats fine i guess hp bars on minions its wierd idk i just dont want to lose a game that i loved so much

I agree I don’t think it’s gonna be better than smite one for atleast a year or two there’s just so many fun gods and fun builds in smite 1 and the str and int is more limiting then they made it seem

For me it felt like Zeus deals absolutely 0 damage. His ult barely scratches carries and you have no need to move out anymore.
Finally, someone who sees reason over this display of curbstomping some comp that probably never even played the 1st one. Zeus is no longer fun to me.

Yeah they were. Opposite thumbstickd than before and just really weird. I didn't have time to look if it was a possibility, but hopefully.
@kennyp1068 it is. But you have to be in game or go to God select to go training range to access settings. Xbox atleast.
how did you get your sensitivity higher? I put mine on max settings and it still feels super slow for some reason. it makes it hard to play

So, this is an interesting glitch. You know that "Cosmic Horror" item? Yeah, even though it's a part of the auto build for burst mages, shows the item icon and everything, the item itself is not in the PS5 version of the game at all. You turn off all filters, look at every intelligence item, nothing. I threw on the auto build to see if it would let me build the item, but even then, the auto build stops once it gets to where it would build the item.
For some reason im just so lost guys, can anyone explain me if i buy founders edition will i be able to play right now? Or even if i purchase founders edition whatever(basic one) i still have to wait till july 30? And then when will game fully released then? can someone explain me please

Is it just my ping or do abilities feel slightly delayed and the game just feel a bit slower
The biggest issue I have with this game is the rather unintuitive UI (in regards to buying items) and it being somewhat vague as to what items even do. For example what exactly does intelligence or strength do? Why can a mage or warrior buy both? how will that effect what damage I will do? Aside from that I expect most other issues to be fixed with the full release, such as the bugs or the lackluster graphics/effects/animations.
You can read in the gods ability descriptions how strenght and intel affect them.
My computer is doodoo and can't run this well at all even on the lowest settings.

I did crit athena already but sadly she has a bug with autos atm. She will sometimes not auto with all abilities down 🤷🏻♂️ still
Only current fix is using an ability to reset your basic.

My only complaint is the store. For console, navigating is trash. Outside of that im super excited for smite2. Im worried for balancing cuz Hirez is pretty bad at it and with all items being able to be built on anyone. Items will be questionable when most of the old god list is added.

I've played, and must say. They completely neutered my man Zeus, he's a fraction of what he used to be. Practically falls over when pressed, and forced him to be an adc and I'm just not a fan anymore. Active items are too clunky for console and I count 9 tier 3 items lacking an active or a passive.

Hard agree. Its the fact thats its made in UE5. All UE5 games have no character and look like a test map that was put together in 2 hours. Also every vid I've watched so far, sounds are really weird all around.

Smite 2 sucks wiener so far, all the characters feel super stiff, yeah it looks pretty but it plays like Predecessor does vs paragon.
Predecessor is not to bad, they have more work to do but they definitely on the right track, I never thought I’d be playing Murdock again, he plays like the og version
