I got it after like 20 tries and now I can ONLY do it going to the left or right, can never super glide going straight
that used to be me over a year ago, I spent around 30 minutes in the range once and only hit it twice. Then I understood where to time it and how to time it now i can hit it 80% of the time

Basically at the end of the climbing animation press and hold your jump and crouch button
When you climb up press a+b and you'll eventually get the timing
You can hold forward the entire time, just in case anybody is confused. Also I stg you have to click jump a fraction of a hair of a second faster than crouch.
Yeah, people aren't saying that. You should jump as soon as climb animation then should crouch. If you know how to the climb slide thing that aceu does (when you climb a box or something and walk on step into a slide) that is the timing for the crouch.

This video taught me how to superglyed. All I can say to those who are struggling work on climbing a wall an jumping at the peak to get max distance then once you have that down implement the slide at the jump hope this helps
As far as I can tell everyone is saying jump first then crouch after, but the pros say do it at the same time. I think you can get a subpar glide(forgive the pun) when you have the slight delay and the closer you can get them to the proper timing will get you more and more speed
I guide this down almost immediately. As a drummer I love how many games are rhythm-based. Even Runescape lol.
You can keep your crouch on toggle, been doing it since season 2

I can do them with crouch on toggle, so not sure how important that is. Also get good at climbing and sliding off first, it’s basically the same timing as the super glide. Then add a jump right before you hit slide, you will do a regular glide, I do this most often so I can make sure to get some movement as opposed to choking the super glide and being stuck in the mud.
You dont need crouch to be on hold nor auto sprint. Auto sprint is just a quality of life thing to make sure you're guy is always sprinting for it. You just finish climbing slide right a way just then slide during that jump so you continue sliding after the jump. That is for toggle crouch of course

You don’t need auto sprint on you just have to make sure you’re sprinting the whole time if you don’t have it on
What about the crouch on hold? Is that a must?
I recommend changing jump to L2 and slide to right stick much easier for movement, also L1 (aim) R1 (fire) is a lot more easier as you tend to keep your thumbs on the stick more often that way and the jump being L2 is a tap away without removing your thumbs from the sticks. I also use R2 to ping A or X for tactical depending on your roller.
Been using the l1 and r1 since destiny used to play bumper jumper and now I can’t play any game without having jump on l2
@@XxGoldElmoXx i recently switched jump to right stick and slide in l2, keeps my fingers on the sticks and prevents funny aim when crouch spamming and quick sliding. Also got weapon swap on left stick.

Been tweaking my custom bindimg bc ive rocked button puncher the whole time.. fumny enough i settled on exactly your OC, i tried switching my crouch to L2 for for better crouch spams but i actually noticed it causes me to rock my controller too much when i crouch spam 😅is that an issue for you aswell

If you play on a very low fps console (like me) you can keep your crouch on hold if you like it that way as it’s extremely easier to superglide the lower your fps is
Dude I was trying to learn this and I was doing it without knowing xD I thought I was doing a shity version of the superglide but it seems like I was doing the actual thing.

Lmaooo it’s arguably the easiest movement tech in the game after wall bounces. I always thought there was something more to it bc I did it all the time, but saw clips of people going crazy distances with octane or wraith so I thought what I was doing wasn’t super gliding. It is and it’s not hard bro.

Quick tip! After 1000 hours I found for it to work for me on console, I have to hit jump button right before pressing crouch doesn't work when I press at same time
If you have vibration on, hit the buttons as soon as it vibrates
What ive found that works good is to, aim while manteling then when the mantle cancels the aim then superglide
I learned this a long time ago but it was annoying I couldn't do it but now I can do it every time
I literally just spent an hour and half trying to do it and I still can’t figure it out idk if it’s the timing or what but in the hour and a half I hit it maybe 4 times

So I play on controllers and have always been a movement freak. Everything from superjumps to mantle jumps. Only since 120fps came to console I can't do the timing anymore. All steps are fulfilled only it's very rare that I can do a superglide. And that surprises me because it was wonderful before.
Do you NEED the crouch on hold? I hate having that setting like that.. but if it's the only way to superglide...
For controller settings you could also just make your movement button also be your crouch button so if on ps4, pressing L3 will activate crouch

Something that helped me is really focusing on pressing jump and crouch at the same time. And also make sure you’re getting the timing right for when you’re at the peak of your time
Shake your right stick and swing into it. If that makes any sense. Helps me.

Also another tip, don’t be doin too many superglides during a fight, you’ll end up fuckin up since getting shot gets you slowed down, you’ll end up just crouching on top of an object and gettin knocked.
If you hit your jump slightly before your crouch it hits it more consistently
you can go completely sideways even on ps4 and xbox by crouch jumping and instead of pushing left analog forward, push it straight left or right

You don't need auto sprint or crouch on hold, I don't have either and I'm pretty consistent about 85% of the time I hit it. Also you don't need to superglide forward you can also go back left or right

I use a paddle for jump and a paddle for slide, it makes this sooo easy to just press 2 paddles at same time

Hold junp and crouch as soon as ur caracters feet hit the ground, taller objects takes more time till u press jump and crouch. Smaller objects (such as rampart walls) are almost imediate jump/crouch whilst the 1v1 spot in fire range is taller so you have to wait a millisecond longer

The hard part of the super glide is the timing on when to jump-crouch. Which you actually don’t provide any sort of tip on how to know when is the moment to press those inputs.

for anyone on xbox: It's not jump and crouch at the same time, you have to press jump first and then almost immediately press crouch, there's like less than half a second delay but it's definetly jump before crouch, I've been hitting almost every supperjump when I press jump before, it only took me 2 days to get it but that's because i'm ass at the game 👍

btw u don't need to have crouch on hold or have auto sprint on. I super glide 7 out 10 times and my auto sprint is on off so I can inspect while running and my crouch is on toggle bc for me it's easier

I need help. I got custom settings and it took me 1 and half month to get used to it. But I’m currently playing my best. The problem is that with my custom my jump and climb buttons are on my right analog and I can’t seem to make this work😔
Just get paddles and bind jump on left paddle and crouch on right analog stick. I hit like 8 out of 10 superglides
I do with church on toggle I find it easier but I only did it a couple of times

don't press jump and crouch at the same time you want to press jump very quickly then slide extremely fast. And don't hold jump hold crouch. It's a lot easier with paddles if you have them.
Imo, you know you hit a super glide when your FOV scales out a bit in the air. The legs thing doesn't help you learn when you're practicing in first-person. Nice tutorial regardless!
