All this from a few guys sitting in a German living room one day. "Hey, what if we did this..."
No kidding. Wow. RAMMSTEIN ROCKS! No one compares. NOONE.
True
im so happy they did
hard works pays off at the end :)
30years active and now what they are doing
And just think the Berlin Wall never came down Rammstein What about the fire put out the whole it even started don’t forget Rammstein is made up of members are the side of the wall
Hey there.
I was a stagehand/rigger on this show in Philly. I did the build on Tuesday before the show.
The trucks you see are production only. (Lights, audio, Pyro, rigging, set pieces, backline).
The actual structure itself is even more trucks and takes even longer to tear down
I believe it
@c3 The trucking coming they are using is Truck and Roll. It's from Canada but they hire drivers from the states also. Look them up.
I used to do this stuff 'back in the day.'...Biggest show I ever worked was U2....not counting the staging, it was 29 trucks of production!!!
@@kevinlane7555 Saw U2 @ Spartan Stadium, East Lansing MI with The Claw stage. Was postponed a year as Bono hadda bad back attack. Enjoyable show; just stunned@ all their gear but Rammstein, geez Louise:0.
What company they used for audio?
"I played lead forklift for Rammstein!!" lol
1350 tons and a total of 90 trucks to transport the show
Strange. Are the trucks in Europe bigger? because I know only from around 60 trucks (which is still impressive). Why I know that? Because of one of their drivers, unfortunately it is all in German and he had to take his videos from the tour down, so whoever uploaded this one, might have to be careful, that no one is "coming at him". The guy I am talking of, has only around 4.000 subs. czcams.com/channels/c-qcqyo9phIY6FnqQRDmiA.html. So again, he was one of the European truck drivers for Rammstein. Also at the credits I did not count more than 66 names: czcams.com/video/R0s7XFzFcQs/video.html, but as I said, maybe in Europe the trucks are bigger, because I do not know the standards for US-Trucks.
Tu es sur ?
Seven 747 planes from Europe and 90 semis from city to city
Im so impressed by this concert and the work that went into building the stage.
Show your you know what to she your approval
I’m always impressed by how they start tearing down the setup within seconds of the end of the concert
Yeap, "we are done, let's get the fuck out of here before they see what is broken".
Thats crazy
Thanks I am a geek for this stuff, I have been keeping an eye on the staging area at Foxboro and they have placed a bunch of forklifts there already.
If it's anything like Europe logistics then there will be 2 of the "Black Steel" backbone of the stage on the move. That's the most time intestine part of the setup.
@@Gr33nMamba I agree, many of the large tours have 2 or 3 complete sets of 'black iron' and one set of the lights, sound etc. I am expecting to see it showing up very shortly. I go by the site on the way to work.
@@Shockedbywater Rammstein are calling them Blue steel and Red steel.
Awesome!!!
7 747s with something like 1400 tons of equipment for the North American tour. Unreal
insane setup
This tour setup & the 2 stages remind me of when U2 did there PopMart tour. U2 did a interview on Muchmusic during that tour. Bono said that they had 3 stages being built in different cities as they would be preforming on one stage. And whatever money they made on that tour went back into the tour for gas money & etc.
That’s one expensive tour. Lol. They put on a amazing show. Seen them in Montreal a few years back.
The Loudest & Best Band In The World ❤️❤️❤️✅✅🤘🤘🤘😎🔥🔥
As big and is bright and is amazing as they are no actually they’re not even close to being the loudest band in the world they use the most wattage in sound but they do not blaster is the sound quality and because they want to make sure what you here at the very front row Santa you’re gonna hear anyway at the back that’s why you see those towers that amid stage they are cut speakers hanging on them to even at the sound
If you think you're wallet is hurting due to gas being so high, just imagine Rammstien's bill just for the Diesel fuel for all 90 semi trucks alone lol
There's a loooottttttt more where that came from too.
Dude standing on the forks instant OSHA violation lmao
Big ol no-no haha
Only a phuq wit OSHA git would pull out the pen for that!
I dont know if they have the same concept for the US but on their tour in Europe they had two stages that were constantly on the move. One show was played while the other stage is already geting build somewhere else.
Check out Rammstein Official channel. 2 years ago they made a time lapse of the complete stage build in Europe start to finish. 7 days to complete. Amazing video to watch. They definitely have two stage sets the way they are bouncing back and fourth on this tour.
they have 2 stages and 2 full production sets
This is only a fraction of the trucks they use. It’s about 80 in total
Holy crap

Where are the other 547 Trucks?
I'm thinking that Rammstein is just doing this for the fans considering how high fuel costs are, I'm not sure they are profiting that much for the tour.
If Montreal was any indication, they're pulling in about $4 million per show from ticket sales alone. That's not including production/staff/transport costs, but likely they're pulling in 2.5 million. Then there's merch. $50 a t-shirt in Montreal.
I think they're doing ok lol
I was at Philly. I cant believe they are making anything after seeing the insane pyro and staging. Absolutely incredible spectacle.
@@proboz I hope it's all worth it in the end, that way they can come back again, and do another stadium 🏟 tour before they retire. It was an amazing show, I just wish they played more songs. They missed so many staples.
Ich habe irgendwo gelesen, dass Rammstein kaum wirklich an den Shows verdient. Sie sollen eher noch finanziell drauflegen. Geld kommt eher durch Merchandising rein.
@@proboz how is that possible? Would money go back to transporting the stage?
...but thats not all. I saw them 2019 in Barcelona and they are there with more than 90 trucks....

Y tres fechas tienen ustedes 😃
Lo único que puedo decir, es que si los vas a ir a ver, disfruta o lo máximo 🙌 cada segundo que estuve ahí valió la pena
Always wondered how Rammstein move all their stuffs, how many hours takes to set up everything, how big is their staff????
Takes about 6 days to build the stage. They have roughly 250 people that travel with them, plus 250 local union workers at each site. Go search "rammstein stage" on YT, they posted a week-long hyperlapse of the build on their channel a while back.
Because it takes so long, they actually have 2 stages that leap-frog each other from show to show.
Seven 747 planes from Europe and 90 semis from city to city
You need to watch their time lapse stage set up, search for it on here. It's absolutely mind blowing. I was at the Chicago show & my hotel room looked at soldier field...I watched the main towers come down the next morning and it was really cool. I love & appreciate the stage show & performance they give the crowds sooooo much!!
my friend and I stood there for a moment and looked at those trucks too. we were both amazed by how many trucks have to transport that stage. I read it took like 700+ planes to fly all of it to the US.
It took 7-747s
700 planes? No it took 7 planes.
ONLY 7... 😉

Rammstein don't travel light awesome stage doesn't come cheap.
They bounced back and forth. Montreal to Minnesota back to Philly then back west to Chicago then back east to New Jersey then to Massachusetts. I think football forced them to work this schedule.
I think that is bcz they have 2 different sets of stages. When having show with one then move the other to the next venue. So they should bounce back & forth.
You are correct. There are 2 stages. They take 60 hours for setup, plus tear down. Then they're off to the next city 2 shows later.

This not the stage. Only the stage is in 90+ trucks.
Now you know why tickets are so expensive. 13.5 tons of equipment...
Just calculate the price per minute of the show. It appears cheap then!
Except their tickets aren't that expensive. I paid more for crap seats at rage against the machine compared to floor at Rammstein. Rage was like almost double and their stage is nothing special.
if they have 90 trucks and it takes about a 1000 bucks to fuel each truck and buses pluse all the people it takes to set up and put on the the production how in the world can they be makeing any money with this size of tour
Merch...
They should be playing 4-5 shoes in a row.
Not trying to be funny but you have to do the math. If they played to 40,000 people in Philly and the average ticket price is $100 that is a $4,000,000 ticket gross plus merch sales.
@c3 exactly! The ticket gross alone is probably 4 to 6 million!
@@emerythompson7654 Shoes? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This has GOT to be equivalent to that Taylor Swift tour from some odd years ago. Didn't she have like 25 semis or something?
a staff man told me that there are around 150, the rest were on the other side of the stadium but couldn't be seen 😥
@@roushin84 holy shit. I think Taylor swift had 100 (50 per rig, leap frogging). I could be wrong though. But damn, 150. I could believe it though after seeing the show. It’s a huge rig.

7airplain. 747 loaded from Germany
So they have new planes I was reading in a German newspaper, that they had two Cargo-planes. Maybe for the crew, or the German newspaper is lying again.
@@andreagruber5813 that have rent i think
The equipment was flown in on seven 747 planes from Europe before being transported to each city on 90 semis. Minneapolis was the first U.S. stop in the bands 12-city North America tour. It's also the first time Rammstein has played in an NFL stadium.
@@andreagruber5813 probebly one fore the band and one fore the crew.
@@fw1367 OK, as I said, maybe there it is something else, but it does not explain a lot of other weird stuff, which I know it is not true. Period. I still find it weird that they have 66 trucks in Europe and 90 in the US. Why they say US-Trucks are big, when they seem to be smaller. USA is and will stay weird for me, making everything bigger as it is, only to look as a leader. Can not deal with that mentality. Have a nice day!
@@fw1367 Yes might be, I still stick with it. I do not get it, that I read a lot of other stuff, where I know it is not true. Do you get it what I mean, or not. Has not do to with the bloody planes, but well. Americans, I can not deal with them that much it seems. Good that others are better into them, and I try it hard. But your education system and for all this propaganda of the patriotism from America really sucks for me. AMERICA IS NOT EVERYTHING AND NOT EVERYONE WANTS THIS LIFESTYLE, Thank you. A say it again, have a nice day.
