Even when this series gets a lot of backlash for its writing... I must admit the author was so damn creative with her scenarios, settings and character designs. It's so beautifully done in the manga already and was honed to perfection in the anime. Holy shit. Infinity castle?? How many crack does one smoke to be able to write this man. It's such a damn shame she still hasn't pumped out any new work I've been dying to see more of her ideas urgh
I actually adore animes like Demon Slayer where the story is simple. It's good guys vs bad guys. It's not necessary to show shades of gray like say Attack on Titan. Sometimes I want to see good guys fight the bad guys, and they get rewarded in the end.
And they still don't remember Tamayo, even though she appeared in all the seasons and the movie. And obviously she would have an important role
I'm sure the author is going to be releasing something soon. With the amount of popularity from DS I'd give him/her a break
The fact that Demon Slayer is a simple, character driven story rather than a plot driven one that relies on plot twists and confusing the audience is actually one of the many reasons why I like Demon Slayer so much lol.
I've always loved series that focus on their characters and letting the audience get to properly know them and their individual stories, personalities and relationships and making them actually care about the characters and rooting for them rather than feeling indifferent towards them.
It’s simple but it isn’t bad. I like it for what it is. It’s hated for no reason

i mean the fact that anime can be pirated easily, I hope and wish everyone goes to the theatres and pays for this beautiful experience for the next 3 years. The animators deserve the full credit, plus I hope sony and theatre's don't take too much of the cut.

Love how the leaders of the two opposing factions are complete opposites of each other. The other is oozing with vitality and the other is barely clinging to life. The other rules with absolute authority among his kind, the other just leads his people and is well respected by his peers. The other fears death and longs for immortality, the other embraced death like an old friend.

In the Kimetsu No Yaiba Wiki, it's said that Tamayo is physically 19 (meaning that she became a demon at 19 years old). It's also known that she ate her children after becoming a demon. If she was already a mother at 19, that means that her kids must have been extremely young ; they were most probably toddlers, or even babies...My heart broke when I realized this.
God, this makes me hate Muzan even more. The poor girl just wanted to see her kids grow up, but because of Michael Jackson Wannabe, she was basically forced to become a child-eating demon before even reaching 20. No wonder she wants Muzan to die after all these centuries...
Overall, Tamayo reminds me of La Llorona, a Mexican legend : A woman that killed her own children in a state of madness/demonic hunger, and then goes on to hurt more people. The difference being that Tamayo saw the errors of her way and redeemed herself long ago thanks to Yoriichi.
This also explains why she cries when Nezuko hugged her : Because, as a mother who failed her family, she feels like she doesn't deserve it.
To me, Tamayo is probably one of the most tragic characters in the series.

@@DerrelTheReal As I said above, I fished DS via manga so I’m aware of everything. Gyomei was going to die soon due to his DS mark but he was so strong that he lived an extra 2 years with it. The reason he told the medics to use the resources on the others is because even with it, he would of died due to the DS mark & he knew it.
