It's actually very common, coughing and sneezing can pull ribs, and even spinal parts loose from each other. During Covid I had the same thing happen and my doctor told me it was completely normal if you cough too hard and then reminded me that it only takes 3 pounds of pressure to break a bone and 2 pounds of pressure to pull one loose from another one.
This shit is no joke, sneezed and pinched a nerve in my neck. Couldn’t turn my head and it hurt so bad, had to see my chiropractor the next day but the relief was almost immediate.

It's super normal. I dislocate mine whenever I cough (it's a horrible loud aggressive cough). You can also live with a dislocated rib for a looong time. I lived with mine for 3 years thinking it was just normalcy now. They'll sometimes slid back into place if they're the floating ribs.
