- This is a small scale (proof of concept) snowmaker that you can build yourself from galvanized steel fixtures. I bought everything you see in this video from Lowes Home Improvement warehouse. This model produces tiny amounts of snow in ideal conditions, however you can visit snowathome.com and build larger and more complex models on your own. You will need a water supply from a garden hose and an air compressor capable of 90PSI and 3.0CFM.
This video instructs the mock-up assembly of this snow maker model. Before you attempt to pressurize the snow maker, Teflon tape should be applied to the threaded pipes. As with any pressurized instrument, use caution when operating. Use at your own risk!!!

I think this will work flawlessly to produce foam for washing cars, just using one more connector to add soap to the water before it mixes with the compressed air. Do you think this will work??
hey is there anyway possible you can give the the list of parts? i have been wanting to make one of these for years with out it being outragous. thanks.
does this make enough snow to snowboard??
@tbuwatcher Not sure. this is just a waste of time it will take 24 hours to get like 3 inches of snow in not even a foot circle lol
@fogle6 is this every peice of supply i will need to make this??
Hey man, just wondering if you bought the nipples or if you made them yourself. If you made them, could you explain how/what to get? Thanks, seriously appreciate it!!
