- We reach the final destination of the Kanto Tour. Guys, it has truly been an honour.
I have loved each and ever moment of this travel. It has been 10 years in the making, thinking I'd never get around to doing this. But here we are. We did it!

What website did you use to purchase tickets for the ferry? Trying to go in July.
1) I've found tokyoislands which when 'reserving' says they will email me with info of the booking to actually purchase, but I get no emails even in my spam folder after a couple tries a week apart.
2) I've found directferries that no matter what date/time I put, it says none are available. This website doesn't let me try to search in increments of 30 minutes, but I see from the ferry schedule that it would depart at 30 minutes after the hour, so I have no way to select the exact time on this website.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Hi! I'm glad to help you. Did you try the Japanese version of direct ferries? Sometimes they region lock the ticket sales. You can also buy the tickets at the counter on the day. They don't really get that full... just be mindful of their schedule. When I was there, I literally couldn't miss my time, if I did I couldn't make it to the island on time or would be stranded on the island for the day (plenty of hotels available but...). Well, this was before Japan was opened up to tourists. So it could be a bit more busier now. Also it seems Tokai Kisen has a new site now, as you said "Tokyo islands" for reservations... It was totally different when I booked it. I was able to book it directly from them... Let me know how it goes!!
I just searched my email again, and I found www.tokaikisenyoyaku.com/app/membership/my-page. It is completely in Japanese, so please use Google translate extension or Google lens to translate the form. Register and book it on that site :) Japanese sites are notorious for being poorly designed, not surprised the English version isn't working...

Yep! I'm gonna start the Johto series soon :) I'm actually moving to Nagoya next month so it will be a lot easier to travel around Johto... thanks for watching these videos! Pallet Town will be uploaded tomorrow 🙏
