I am the dude in the first clip with the C2! Yes, I am in this Video but honestly I am not actually a Bass Singer, but subharmonics and other techniques allow me to cover bass lines here and there. And the A1 at 3:58 was actually my lowest ever recorded subharmonic note. That‘s why it sounded so weak and unstable.

Geoff actually discovered the technique on one of his videos and practiced by following his advice.
Bass enthusiasts owe him a lot.
You can get there Qofy!! I really got into bass over the last year really and can kind of do subharmonics and go down to a D#1/E1 with them! Just takes practice and keep trying! As Geoff said, hit a comfortable note in chest (say G#2) and then introduce fry but keep on the same note and the G#1 subharmonic will pop out!

That F#1 that you kept talking about with like the “over tones and stuff” is originally done by Geoff Castellucci in his group, voiceplay’s video called ‘21 pilots mashup’ go check it out because it’s awesome and that guy did a pretty good job mimicking it.
