Insider tip, the word Chai literally means tea in Hindi.
So when everyone here in the US calls it Chai Tea, you are literally saying Tea Tea, which sounds pretty ridiculous to any one from India. Just call it Chai like Clint did! :)
Keep up the awesome videos Crew!
And then there the peope who watch Chilled and just laugh when you think about Chai Chai
@@starkloco5600 in my country is called čaj (chaj) different spelling, same saying (czech republic)
Chai also means tea in Russian. I wonder what is the origin of this word?
It's the same with "naan bread", English colonialism shows up in the language all the time lol

I love Clint’s passion towards chai. The way he feels about chai, I feel the same way towards freshly cooked ramen. *I can relate.*
Authentic ramen and noodle soup dishes are the best thing everrrrrrrrrr
Me too
Not gonna lie, life’s been in a downward spiral for me and watching you guys actually cheered me up. I used to watch Node and you Guys whenever I could but then I suddenly stopped because I started having stuff pop up in my life, it felt nice to watch you guys again. Thank you for your content corridor crew, it’s honestly helped me so much
I know its been 3 years but I hope things got good for you dude!
Going through the same thing my friend. Corridor has really put some motivation and serenity back into my life. Hope things have gotten better for you man.
The VPN research part at 3:31 reminded me of those old anti-piracy warnings on DVDs. "You wouldn't steal a car"

Is this some sort of l8 90s joke that im too early 2000s to understand
As a kid we'd get movies from the video store and watch it, see the warning and pirate it anyway haha
A tip. When the milk kinda starts frothing up use a spoon to stir it it will dissolve that froth and keep it from overflowing.
my heart every time he spilt the chai😢
One simply don't waste chai 😭
Clint: I love chai

Where did the sponsored banner go? I liked to know when someone is trying to sell something to me.
Edit: still loved the video, you guys rock, totally chill n’ cool that you forgot the timer! Thanks for letting us know Christian.
it's so obvious now that as soon as i hear vpn, boy it's an ad.
VPN is also the 1 reason why Gaming is doing bad now because foreign countries are connecting into NA servers to ruin peoples game time. Don't believe me look at siege players

Yeah, I was hoping to see the sponsor timer too.

I haven't watched a video from you guys in like 4 months, but damn, Sam is losing a lot of weight and looking good. Proud of you my dude.
i am from india and i have been watching you guys from 2 years
i have seen all of your videos and also from node
i really liked you people had tea
chai is a hindi word meaning tea
To not worry about the milk boiling over, you can steep the tea and add the spice first. Then add the milk and turn off the heat and let it sit for a while. You'll pretty much get the same taste but with less effort.
Ok fellow Indian here, here is a much simpler recipe for how to make chai:
Portion: For 1 person
Ingredients:
. Assam masala chai (you can make your own but I prefer to buy it if you can get your hands on it)
. Whole milk
. Filtered water
You will need:
. A saucepan with a spout
. A tea stainer
. A spoon
. A scale or measuring cup
. Brown sugar
Step 1.
Measure out 100ml of filtered water and place in your pan on a high heat.
Step 2.
Measure out 100ml of milk
Step 3.
Once the water has boiled add the milk, a tea spoon of tea and a tea spoon of brown sugar to the pan.
Step 4.
Let the tea brew for 2min, keep watching the pan so the milk doesn’t boil over.
Step 5.
After 2 min remove from the heat and strain into a mug :)
Hope that helped, I appreciate that you said chai, instead of chai tea lol
seeing nikos bob ross mug whilst im wearing my bob ross t-shirt is magical
If you guys are finally doing a Dark Souls video, PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEASE include the voice stones or whatever they were. The things you throw at the ground and it goes, "HELLLOOO".

Dude you need to mix those spices with milk using spoon or something and boil it.
Corridor crew is life, neeeeeed mooooreeeee
Try roasting the seeds before grinding... Might enhance the favor
I love the culture of Corridor! After watching so many of their videos it's so cool to see how they just keep growing in their own knowledge and they go out to intentionally learn new things not just in VFX but in life!
Especially Sam, who keeps growing and growing. And growing.
My favorite episodes are the cooking episodes for several reasons. First, their recipes ain't bad. Secondly, you get so much more of the one individual's personality. (Jake's breakfast burrito episode is one of my favorites.) Lastly, they are all so grateful at the end!
Finally got to try out the recipe and wow, that is some seriously good chai! Sadly couldn't get whole milk, but it still ended up really good! Thanks Clint for sharing it with us!
I sometimes find it funny the cultural differences when I'm watching the videos, as a Brazilian (we consume a lot of milk) seeing people amazed by the skin from milk is weird as it's so common to us.
a skin that thick is probably from a really fatty milk. i love that shit. also when you have a designated milk pot which is always full, the milk solids accumulate over time on the inner walls and i loved scraping those off and eating it as a kid.
I agree, i'm mexican and here there is something named Atole, which is basically boiled milk, corn and spices, and that milk-skin is specially loved by many people.
I drink alot of milk too but medium fat milk, so I’ve never seen that skin
I appreciate you guys so much for putting that recipe in the description, I absolutely can not wait to try it
This is one of the few YT channels I don't mind watching sponsored segments for bc they are so creative and funny with them.
That recipe sounds great, and I love chai tea but I've never made it homestyle like that. I wrote down as much as I could gather, but would love a more specific recipe.
per cup:
1) Red Label loose leaf black tea, amount: ? 1 tbsp ?
2) Whole cloves, 1.5 pieces
3) Fennel seeds, a generous pinch
4) whole black pepper, 3+ pieces
5) Cinnamon sticks, about 1.5 cm chunk
6) Fresh Ginger, skin and great, amount: ? a pinch ?
7) Cardamon, 14 tiny seeds
50/50 whole milk and water, but how much did you put in the pot? 1/2 a cup each?
Grind everything (but the ginger?) together, bring milk/water to an almost boil, add ground spices, add ginger, let boil up at least 3 times but remove from heat before boiling over. pour tea through a sieve into the mug, enjoy.
Niko wasn't too far off with the person just showing up and dying gag as he gets there.... It would work much better if the Protagonist did a summon, and for some reason he or "it" was glitched and summoned in the air then falls to death.... add a "shit that wasn't supposed to happen" by the Protagonist, or the Deuteragonist can say it. A sentence in general that is clearly expressing that , that wasn't the intended outcome. Can always do a Joke there too. Gore and spatter might be needed. ( effects that is) (Note) This all also depends on if there are summoning in this game.
The chai looks great! I'll give it a try this weekend. Thanks a ton, Clint and Mattie!
all you guys are the best!!!
Keep up the GREAT and INSPIRING work!!😁👍😊
2:55 - 5:20 The usual "sponsored segment" timer is missing.
10:57 "This would be delicious around- around the hearth during Thanksgiving and Christmas."
Now I'm imagining Jake sitting at a hearth, enjoying chai tea, playing Hearthstone on a tablet while Santa's Elves are trying to sneak in to assassinate him.
Actually , chai and tea mean the same thing. Chai literally means tea in hindi.
i literally make chai everyday, can't spend the day without it, so i'm glad that the recipe is getting around
I absolutely love the editing in this video!
Clint mate, I have never seen anyone being so conscious while making chai :p
Hey, the skin is the tastiest part of the chai!

I was literally drinking chai while watching this! Sounds fun to make your own!
Hey i actually drink this!
To call it “chai tea” is like calling it tea tea. Just like calling “The La Trattoria” means THE THE Trattoria. Hahaha
Or The La Ferrari?
"chai tea" isnt going far enough, say "chai tea latte" meaning tea tea milk
Oh so we drinkin TEA tea.

That ExpressVPN ad was really good. It pulled me into the story. Well done, guys!
Another great video guys!
"Chai" also means "tea" on russian language:>
Actually hindi is a mix of different languages from different cultures which makes it diverse and help peoples and cultures to connect, and word chai is turkish, persian, urdu, russian

How photography can create a food addiction. A love story. Lol
Netflix actually blocks VPN use :/
it depends based on the vpn whether it's blocked i would suggest asking around yourself to find one.
almost every free VPN services are blocked by netflix, some of the paid ones are too...
I use Nord and it works just fine for me.
Windscribe has specific servers that work with Netflix, requires premium though.
The actual good ones that you have to pay for, are not blocked (Nord isn't atleast, as far as I know). But again, they're paid services in these cases.
Clint is still one of my favorite people in the world. Just throwing that out there in case you want to get chai, my guy.
Hats off to you guys... Awesome job guys

As an Indian it’s funny to see him struggling to make chai, we learn this when we are children😂😂
How can so many people have never boiled milk before?
I love these food related vids like sams udon noodle soup and jakes breakfast burrito
Ohhhh the production quality!!
Netflix blocks vpns so your idea wont work
Well, I guess Jake is off to Mexico again then
I've used a VPN with Netflix. You just need to be clever about it
@@impaco6045 elaborate
Not true... i use nord vpn and from india i can watch US content
@@BoyBlunder66 which vpn would recommend for this?
Clint if you put a wooden spoon across the pot it will prevent it from boiling over. it's an old culinary trick.
That isn't true. How would that stop it?
Just one advice for you add every spice in the water first let it boil and then add the amount milk depending on the taste you prefer of the chai
so extra with the sound effects during the bubbling, love it
Why is he measuring the ingredients I just put them in by my mood
This must be right before Sam transformed into a whale, went bald, and turned his teeth brown.
Lol!
I love chai, it's the beverage of the gods. I got my receipt from colleague who's from India. This recipe doesn't use fennel seeds but fresh nutmeg.
Chai is my favorite tea of all time!!!
Clint’s forehead is almost as big as jack’s
you mean me me big boy?
Lol yes
Literally cringing after seeing those cooking skills. BTW, add some sugar and drop the fennel and add more ginger.
Finally got around to making this. Its so goood
Chai is my favorite. I've been drinking it since I was 8 as is family custom. The beauty of chai is that there's many different recipes for different taste buds. The one you guys made had no sugar. Try adding a little sugar to experiment and get that sweet and spice taste.
Its a t-series subscriber oh no
All u need is milk, sugar and tea ....jesus..its tea....everything else is just extra flavouring...and chai is just literally tea translated to hindi (indian language) so chai tea= tea tea....
Annddd finally...just add black pepper you wont need anything else in your life or tea...
... You could say the same thing about any recipe ever.
"Good ribs? It's just meat and fire, everything else is just extra flavoring?"
No..the recipe is just milk tea and sugar...after that if u add ginger its a ginger milk tea...u add cardamom..it becomes cardamon milk tea...thats what i meant mate...
The next time I see someone in a expensive car I’m just gonna say it doesn’t matter what brand it is, it’s just a motor and four wheels everything else is just for looks
