This is why I actually like and trust Taco Stacks. He's not filling his locker with jewelry and Jordans to get views. He shows us what they really look like. Yes every blue moon you might find something great but more often than not this is what you get.
He is honest and down to earth. He also doesn't plant money in his lockers for more views either.
Love these videos. I did my 1st storage unit last month. I selected a clean / small one to start off on. bought it for 60 and made 290. It had Coke bar chairs and a rocking chair you could not see from the pictures. It was a lot of fun and work... but worth it. Keep these videos up. Watch your video's everyday.

Do you ever look on Bookscouter or Amazon for selling books? I sold a couple of books to Amazon and got a check for about $40.
I think I figured out why you don't stack well. Unless you see significant value in an item you don't treat it with respect. An example in this video is the backgammon set. When you put it back in the box you didn't latch it. Would you even notice if one or more pieces was missing from the set? Probably not because you imagine selling it for $1 or so. Dude, you fascinate me. Thank you for sharing your life and letting us comment on it. Can't be easy.
Books sell on Ebay. They are easy to list and ship. I sell 10 a week on average.
Maybe they saved the whiskey bottle because it was a special edition. About three years ago I sold a limited vodka bottle for $40 plus shipping on ebay. I had to mail it to Australia. Styrofoam egg cartons are great packing for glass items!
Storage wars would have found a first edition Superman comic, Two Rolex watches and a vintage sports car.

It would have been a gourmet chef's locker who was also into high fashion.
And a partridge in a pear tree.
Don't forget people have been known to put Jewelry and money in clothing pockets. Always check all pockets !! Also wear gloves when going through units to protect hands from not only dirt but also drugs could be anywhere and some are very dangerous just to touch.
Thank you, Taco Stacks! Better than TV. . . . That Anger Mgt Workbook is a good find for you to donate to a thrift store. Counselors suggest those (Fill in your problem here) Workbooks and they are expensive new, so people look for good deals on them.
Instead of immediately donating the clothes, take them to the flea market and sell them for $1.00 each. Not the ones you could sell online, but the everyday jeans and shirts. Just throw down a tarp or lay them across one of your tables. Then donate whatever is leftover. You could easily make another $50.00 that way.
I have watched various videos of yours. I do find them very interesting. It's nice to see such a young man as yourself being such a hard worker. I hope one day you will come across a mega find!!!!
I love auction videos! Once you've sorted through all the contents I would love to see the separate piles for flea market, online sales, donations, recycle and garbage.

In one of the boxes of food there was a Tupperware Cereal Keeper. Did you know that you can sell that for at least $10 on Ebay? Tupperware sells very well on Ebay, I sell it all the time. And most of it will ship in a poly bag. Just put a little bubble wrap around it and ship it. Easy, peasy bread and butter money.
Yes, love all my tupperware, I wondered why he did not show that one either??? If he would just 'show & tell' could of sold more to his devoted audience... I collect movie star books, we never got to see that Clint Eastwood book, so no sale here.. wa, wa, wa!

Lots of people have mentioned gloves. When you came upon the maroon colored “trash can” I got worried. It looked to me like an older style SHARPS DISPOSAL container which is used at hospitals, clinics, and retirement homes for getting rid of used syringes. Whenever you see that color of container, consider it as a BIOHAZARD.

Taco, donate the underwear and socks to a men's shelter, they are the number 1and 2 things most needed at the shelters because people very rarely donate them.
And socks ... they wear their socks until they basically fall apart or are too crusty to wear anymore ... since they don't have regular laundry facilities, they generally just get new socks rather than launder & throw the old ones out.

Papakryptoss it's easy to know if management has been thru it. If you go to live auctions where they cut the person's lock off in front of you.

My daughter and grandson have bought lockers in the past. Lots of work but found some good items. You are correct about the clothes. My daughter bought one with a lot of men's clothes. She had a garage sale and sold a paper grocery bag of clothes for $5.00. She made a lot of money that way.

Yeah that's all I could think watching that. A clean locker without garbage, folded clothes and somewhat organized is one thing, but I feel like you're really taking a chance in a locker like that, freestyle-sifting through boxes of cheap food and stuffed-in clothes. Whoever packed up did it in a hurry, could be anything in there.

I like your locker clean-outs better than most others on youtube. most of them can't even identify what they have. you and blue bus dave are about the best. keep buying lockers, you can't make a profit if you don't take a chance. I get tired of watching these guys who look at a hundred lockers and can't pull the trigger.

The lock is cut off at the time of the auction and dropped inside on the floor when they open the locker for bidding. If you watch his 1st video on this he shows the 2 locks and tags on the lockers that are going to be sold.
They always cut the locks when its sold

Make sure you wear your gloves. I use to work as a property manager for a storage facility. The amount of people who pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars to store literal trash is insane. I had a guy one time use his storage locker as a recycle place. He had a ton of plastic bottles and would always add more. He paid 105.00 a month to store bottles. :) To each their own I guess
