Vapi looks pretty good. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to use your own phone number. Do we have to get stuck with Twilio and Vonage own offer?
You can purchase through Vapi or use Twilio or Vonage.
How would I have the Ai assistant send an email or text message to the person that called the business?
You can set up an after-call webhook on Vapi. This can trigger a scenario that sends an email or an SMS with whatever information you want.
Do you get most of your clients from youtube?
CZcams and Facebook Ads
is retell ai easier than Vapi?
They are quite similar, I've mostly used Vapi so not exactly sure.

This is just the first iteration of a voice assistant, most our clients request several flows requiring a much more in-depth prompt.

I am creating my Bot to do outbound sales calls, but the automated email sent to my inbox only displays "Product: Phone Number:" and cannot extract the product name or phone number. Under "Content" within the Gmail portion of the sequence on Make, the "1. message: functionCall: parameters: Product" and "1. message: call: phoneNumber" is input, yet the Product and Phone Number do not get sent in the email. Do you have a solution to this issue and help extract the product of interest and the customer's phone number? THANK YOU!
Hi, try removing the variables you've used for the phone number and product name, run the automation again and populate the fields again. Also check to see if those variables are receving any data when the webhook initially arrives.
