I'm so grateful that in my country of Australia we have compulsory voting for every citizen over the age of eighteen. Because it's a law for everyone to vote, no one can make it hard for people to vote so it's actually made easy and we have a independent electoral office overseeing federal elections, there's no fraud and the results are calculated on the day. Its not a requirement to register as belonging to a political party either, you show up and tell the person who has a ledger of names, your name and its crossed off then you vote. You can vote by mail early and you can vote from any state, even if you are not living there.The whole system in America is SICK and makes voting difficult deliberately, it's no point complaining about the results of the election if you are not voting.
I would like to add that you have to fill in a form after you are 18 and provide some identification like your birth certificate to be on the electoral role. Its a lifetime registration and if you move house then you update your details.

Agree, many older voters didn't have a valid state ID. Time has passed, so they do now. State laws aren't usually grandfathered in, these voters would have been disenfranchised. A voter ID is only OK when the government gives a voting ID to everyone free of charge. Otherwise it's a pole tax.

It’s happened. Not always presidential elections, local elections in some areas have been notoriously corrupt. Recounts are common in most every election to inure voter confidence. Courts may or may not hear complaints. Some courts may say “no standing” and dismiss. Legal maneuvering is complex especially in a national election it seems.

Why are foreigners always interfering with US elections? For an early vote, you go to your county offices, show your i.d., sign for a ballot, vote, and put the ballot in the box, machine, or a sealed envelope, where its stored until election day. It's verified immediately, but counted later. The county clerk puts a notation in voter rolls that you already voted, so you can't vote again. Early votes are IN PERSON, just like election day. Since we register at DMV, they have a picture of you in the computer that they match to your i.d.

In 2020, the world was addressing a global pandemic of which the current world population had never experienced. Safety was and is paramount, and we were having a presidential election. How would we protect the American population, and at the same time vote for the next president. It was miraculous, that trump’s administration came forward and said unanimously, there was minimal voter fraud. It was claim to be the safest election ever recorded. And Trump went against his administration and claimed the big lie that is torn the country apart. So that is why they changed things in 2020 is because there was a viral disease that ended up killing over 1 million people in this country.
Propaganda like the 50 former Intell agents coming out saying that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation before the 2020 election. Our own government's propaganda is the biggest threat to our elections. Having James Comey John Brendon on news networks persuading people to hate on one side or the other is propaganda at its finest. Now far as Russian election interference the only way they can interfere is hacking into voting machines that are hooked up to the Internet like our voting machines are. Get rid of the voting machines and go back to hand counting.
Some states take weeks to counts because although Pennsylvania has 12.97 million people, California has 39.07 million voters. The Reich wing in this country is so afraid of more people voting, (that's when they lose) that they make sure voting is never nationalized and tabulated by a computer, as easy and secure as using a bank machine. No, Republicans have made sure it's state and precinct based, and its impossible to hand count 150 million ballots in one day this way. 🤷🏼♀️

Was not the problem in Pennsylvania, that they did not pre count early voting, to more quickly determine total count on Election Day?
Different states have different rules, but I think Pennsylvania cannot start processing and counting ballots until election day. Republicans I heard are trying to get them to stop counting after election day. And it used to be that as long as you got your vote to a post office and it was post marked on that day then they would be counted when they arrived.
It's legal to count remaining votes after Election Day too. The deadline is sometime in mid December, when the Electoral College votes takes place.
There have always been ballots not counted on election day. Who cares?
