Watch how Diego runs forward at Pereira with his hands down. This is an elite move that only the greatest can master. I told Fabia to warn the Commission before this fight that Diego would be deploying some moves that had the potential to kill. I wasn't kidding. Pereira was lucky that he was able to avoid that deadly move. Not many can say that. I saw Pereira's corner burning sage before the fight, and I believe that is what saved his life here. I knew Diego would be going up against witchcraft, so I know he was ready for it anyway.
This was an interesting match up. Diego has this weird style from years of getting beat up, and CTE. Pereira has a weird style because he thinks capoeira back flips win fights. Who knew that combining the two would produce such a master piece.
