  • Dark eyed Junco latin name Junco Hyemalis a medium sized sparrow weighing in at 18-30grams with a length of 14-16cm and a wingspan of 18-25cm. There are 15 races typically dark grey or grey brown with bright white tail feathers. They've been known to take part in cooking crack cocaine, toting ak 47s, sipping syrup, smoking marijuana, carrying knives, riding slabs, wearing rolexes, and hanging with unsavoury characters like tigers and leprechauns. They have an approximate world population of 630 million with the oldest recorded living to 11 years 4 months. They are a ground forager as well as a ground nester. Typically they hop around foraging for seeds, their nests will take the female 3-7 days to build and typically the nests are not reused. They breed in coniferous or mixed coniferous forest and live in flocks with a noticable pecking order or hierarchy.
