Same here, it never reach 1A even if playing with RV1 and the max power out is half a Watt :(

great video, I'm looking forward to tinkering, right now though I have a problem with R15 blowing in receive, the board is drawing 1 amp with R15 in circuit, has anyone else experienced this?

a brief note on where you source parts, prices would be useful in an Indian context - srcing is equally important - cost effective

Hello, if I want to use DDS as my oscillator. Which component should be removed?
    Thankyou..

In the stage where you have removed the 100 ohm balancing variable and put a balanced diode, is the diode a specially balanced diode ? And, how tight is the frequency response of the transformer ? I would like to put one of those stages in a transceiver with a different carrier oscillator frequency, around 5.5 mhz . The vfo is higher, multi band so its 9 to 12 mhz. It is an old solid state Swan ss-200 transceiver.

Not too helpful seeing as how My version 3 Bitx 40 is missing the VFO trimmer and the coil next
it. Make a video of the VFO free version please..
