    It's not necessary to take off the thermostat housing to swap out the water pump unless you're also going to put in a new thermostat. And if you're going to swap put the thermostat, replace the plastic housing with an aluminum one. Don't put the plastic POS back on it!

    I like the videos. However, do you have to play this ridiculous music the whole time?

    At 6:18 it should be loctite or threadlocker not sealant.

    Do you have to empty the radiator of fluid or can you do it while it's still full? Not sure if it would make a mess

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  Před 26 dny

      Yes, is it necessary to drain the liquid from the radiator.

    On that sealer used around the water pump, will permatex water pump gasket maker work or do I need something different?

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  Před 8 měsíci

    How do i get Airlock out?
    I have seen Videos lifting Cars up and squeezing Hoses with Bleed Screw out, but no luck, still no temperature on Gauge that worked, before I started job.
    Should Arrow on Thermostat go Up?
    Awesome video, thank you.

      Drive the piss outta it, like 5k rpm’s park on hill open cap, squeeze the upper and lower hoses top off do again and again and again till it it’s good to go
