- This video shows the difference between a stock 2023 BMW S1000RR and 2023 S1000RR with our 1" lowering kit. Unlike our 2" kit, the 1" kit doesn't require any cutting and is extremely simple to install.
Made for riders that prefer a more aggressive look, lower the bikes center of gravity for racing, or just would not like to be on their toes when at a stop light, the 1" kit is the perfect compromise. If following our instructional video, you can balance the bike perfectly and still track it. The bike still feels extremely balanced and flickable.

this video is perfect!! this is what I've bin searching for t
1 inch with the low seat option perfect for short riders
I ordered the 2" lowering kit for my '22. Can't wait to get it installed!
I can't decide if I want the 1 or 2
@@skateboarder207 get the 1"
any reason why? was it too much?@@Naldo_S1K
@@kenelec613 yeah the 2" was too much for me. The handling was way off. For roll racing, it was great. But even in just every day riding, the ride quality suffered. I just had the 1" installed last month, and it's perfect. I'm short, so the height works out, and there's minimal difference in the twisties.
thanks man i actually went with the 1" because of your comment lol@@Naldo_S1K
thanks brother
Is this modification only recommended for drag racing applications?
Bwhats with the ratchet straps on the callipers and forks?
Does it affect canyon and back road riding
Whats the exhaust set up?.... oem headers with no cat?🤔
Did you have to change kick stand ?
Is this 1" kit available to the UK?
Can I install it on my S1000R?
If I get a lowered 2 inch?
I like lowered s1000rr more footing
Can you please tell me where do you find the black unbranded engine cover?
Comes with the 2023
Hello,
I was wondering, how much it effects the handling? I like to research these things and does the wheel hit the back if there is a bigger bump bc its lowered? I have an inseam of 27.4 inches and thats with flat foot. Its more when i tip toe. Do you think with the lowered seat and lowered suspension, I can ride it? I want more than just touching the toes. Its comfortable if the balls touch. If not, do you have any sportsbike that you think its good for my height?
Unless you’re tracking your bike constantly, you won’t even notice a difference in flickability. 1” is a good drop for those 5’5 or taller. 2” if shorter.
@@BT_Moto Im around 5'5 yes but most of it is in the upper body. My legs are quite short. This sounds so stupid but like my inseam is 27.4 and my shoe size is 41 euro so about 9 inches, lets say 6. It should be fine ig with a seat height of 31 inches on s1krr. This is some stupid maths haha😄. Is 2" gonna mess up handling like hitting the road on bumpy surface?. I will only invest when Im sure, it is proven and works.
On 1inch drop rear, should 1inch drop on front too? To match?
Yes, we have a tutorial on our site
Just got my new S1k and I wanna lower it but will I still be able to wheelie it without an issue?
Ours wheelies just fine lowered
what do you compromise with the 1" also does it interfier with the electronics?
Maybe a light loss in ficability, no interfence with electronics
@@BT_Moto 'ficability' 😂 I got what you meant but can you elaborate please?
hey ,
may I know where did you get the fender eliminator for 2023 s1000rr ?
We sell it
May I get more info + shipping to dubai ?

how much does it effect the handling if it's lowered
Only a track rider would know, honestly. It becomes slightly less flickable is all. Still perfectly balanced. Since the center of gravity is being lowered, it will want to dive into a turn a little less. However, This can be countered with a taller tire profile.
@@BT_Motohey sir, which tyre should be the best to prevent ?
I have a 2022 CBR1000 RR do you have one for this bike atleast 1 inch
Yes
will this look a bit odd after lowering ?
That’s what the video is for. It compares the two looks
Where are you guys located? I want to get a stage 1 tune but don’t want to void my warranty. I am wondering what the chances are of engine issues after the tune. I get my 23 BMW S1000rr next week.
Email us. Sales@BT-Moto.com
What type of lowering link do you use? BMW told me nobody makes lowering links. I’m looking to lower my s1000rr only one inch on the front and rear. Thank you. I left a voicemail and am waiting for a call back.
@@DrDisasta we make our own. It’s on our website
@@DrDisasta Yeah get use to their customer service & sales team being unresponsive and snobby. PC5, Austin Racing, Alpha, and OETuning are other options. Do your research on which has it's pros/cons but I can tell you from experience BT Moto has absolute below average customer service.
@@slothking3756 my bike has been broken for four months plus. It’s been in Temecula BMW and they haven’t done shit but give me the run around. Just sent it over to BMW San Diego and they located the issue in two days. Gonna be getting my bike back soon. The wait was worth it. The Austin pipe is the loudest pipe ever. Thanks for the heads up. Still don’t have a tune.
I lot of ppl don't release that if u look at 23 bmw and ducati panigale v4 bmw has way more controlled power that u can apply without sacrifice preform plus unrestricted bmw has more torque then any 999 cc ss bike. U paying less for something that worst more .it homicidal bike all around I have chosen bmw over ducati cuz it way more reliable better electronics more power and better preforming streets or track.
first😤
stupid US Trend lowering bikes 🤦🏻 there's no technical advantage.. you even make it worse!!
Also don't like it personally. It's an advantage for straight line drag racing style riding, but wouldn't be for anything else.
honestly I'm just short as hell
There is technical advantage. For extremely short rider like (5'2) me.
BMW literally sell lowered seats for these bikes yet people still buying lowering links 😂😂
The lowered seat only takes of 14mm and at a cost of $800AU it's almost not worth it.
I bought a used one off of Ebay. Completely useless.
BMW sell the M seat that’s 14mm lower and as hard as hell. Nothing like a 1’’ drop link…
Stupid comment
is there an option to get this with bearings pre installed?
We only want the highest quality in our products. After testing third party bearings, we decided they are not the quality we want associated with our link. The OEM bearing set with dust covers is more than the link cost itself. This is why we suggest a bearing press set in our DIY video. This way you can transfer your OEM bearings to your new link.
@@BT_Moto where can i get the bearing press set? and is there a installation video for your 1 inch lowering link including how to adjust the front as well?
@@noodlezdotcom motion pro makes a good kit. Got it on Amazon
@@BT_Moto one last question , will the voltage regulator ever come in contact with the shock? i asked brocks performance and they said that the under tail must be modified and voltage regulator relocated no matter what if lowering the bike at any height. id like some more clarification on that before making a purchase.
@@noodlezdotcom see our install video. We go over it all. 1” lower will not touch the rectifier. 2” and the rectifier has to be relocated.
bro do you have an IG we can follow ?
