I'm a DIY guy but I break it to fix things, that will cost and it has over time. I didn't want my 2019 bmw 540i to be damaged. This App is what I been looking for. I really appreciate this video. I agree BMW is cutting 3rd party apps from their cars.

Hi, so I have 2016 bmw x5 40e with I drive 4, I downloaded my bmw app, but it said that is supported, is there anything you can do to help me, with using the AA I drive app?

I was not able to connect AAIDrive to my car. It says that I should enable USB Accessory Mode or Apps option in the car for the phone to connect. Not sure how to do that. Maybe I need my car coded? It is a 2019 540i xDrive. Any help is appreciated!

Hello, I have the Connect Drive feature in my G01 X3, however I don't have a subscription (I don't think it's available any more). I can get AAdrive to work, however if the car is in any mode other than Park, the apps from AAdrive doesn't work, and the Music player does not display the music player UI for Spotify, Tidal or CZcams Music. Everything works fine if the car is in P(ark) mode. Is there a fix for this? Is this related to lack of connect drive subscription? Happy to engage your services if this can be fixed. Thank you.

I'm not sure about that, but I DO know that there's support added for YT music via revanced.
Hey. I'm really keen to get this working on my car. I recently retrofitted ID6 on my F06. As it is a refurbished unit BMW does not recognise it as part of the car. Hence I cannot get BMW Connected Drive on my car. I know u require Connected Drive in order for AAIDrive to work. Is there a work around to get this to work with my situation?
My country doesn't have connected drives supported, how to code it?

You can't choose between folders

I don't have Spotify as I also have CZcams Music! The app just uses the name Spotify to identify the music app you use. There is a way to choose which app plays over.
Select 3 tabs on the top left
- click Music
- Select CZcams Music settings
- Authorize the app to allow AAIDRIVE to play
Should be set after ✅️

Absolutely welcome my friend!! Yes the connection between the obd adapter and the app isn't strong enough. What obd adapter are you using?
@FullBoltOn Garage I'm not sure what you mean friend. I usually connect my phone to the car, open the AAi & My BMW apps and then Spotify etc used to show as an up on the iDrive. It's just randomly stopped working and won't connect anymore 😕

Try opening mybmw app and relogin! Sometimes AA won't recognize you logged in and it won't let you connect. Another thing to do is delete tour currently web browser and re-download.. this way the connection to the app is fresh
