She gifted me my first Kate spade purse with the little ♠️ symbol. I fell in love with everything from the cups, to the wallets, to the jewelry, and laptop bags. I always felt her death was suspicious, especially around that time when David Spade tried to take his own life a year before. I just recently bought a Kate spade lunch bag i found at Homegoods. She is a forever icon, and I adored her truly. I hope her daughter carries on her legacy .Thank you Sloan, Kate Spade the fashion world will never forget about you!

Her death and anthony bourdains is what triggered my attempt. I had such a bad day at work I thought “If they have everything I ever dreamed of and did it what was the point of me even trying anymore”. I had just been screamed at by a customer and told to off myself so I went home and attempted. Thankfully I survived. I don’t think people realize how suicide impacts others.
Sorry you felt like suicide was your best way forward but please don’t do it based on others, especially Anthony or Kate seeing as they were both “suicided” (as in killed and recorded as suicides)

I went to the Kate spade store the day they announced her death , they had signs on the open in her honor. It was so sad, I still remember the scandal a week later when KS sent out a promo saying “come hang with Kate Spade” her supporters were livid!!!
I sadly found out about her after her passing. It's super sad. It makes you realize money doesn't buy everything. But it does help to have a much better life than someone without it. I do hope she's very happy wherever she is these days. I'll support her legacy, business and etc forever.

Please do not call these people selfish as you have obiously never been there. Mental illness is an illness and people suffering should not be judged for being ill, so if someone reaches out or you notice something odd, do something about it to help.

Depression can hit instantly and hard. I've had times where the day before I was completely fine but the next day I question everything. So if she was fine the day before, it doesn't really make a difference. Mental health is tough. Sending love to anyone that needs it❤

There is a lot of ambiguity around her death. I know you said you believe the police leaked the note, but it could have been the maid, or the building’s super or even the husband himself. He was home when she killed herself and then the maid had to go get the super to do CPR? It would have been in the husband’s best interest for the note to be leaked. I have mental illness and both my father and brother committed suicide. I know how it feels to be so low that you want out. The only thing which prevented me from committing suicide was the thought of abandoning my children.
People are always shocked when someone who appears happy takes their life. Depression does not discriminate. And just because someone looks ok on the outside doesn’t mean they aren’t beyond suffering mentally perhaps for a very long time.

I think for a lot of people, the brain is simply incompatible with life, and we, as a society, just don't know it. Some still see suicide as a moral issue, and that's not always the case.
I used to be in a much darker place but I have noticed brief spells when I least expect it of thoughts that my whole world is caving in around me and that there is nothing worth living for. Its a really weird feeling but there really is something to the whole life being great one moment then the next its the worst. Im a creative mind also so I wonder if there really is a correlation there. I think about death a lot. More so in the sense that life is precious and wonder what life would be like when I die or wonder how I will die, etc. Sometimes I fear that one day my mind will trick me bad enough that I might end it. Until then I am just doing everything I can to take care of myself but its definitely an ongoing battle.

That being said that makes a person feel the treatments are inadequate and they can lose hope. The depression and anxiety are a by product of the ADHD or more serious disorder
I think for a lot of people, the brain is simply incompatible with life, and we, as a society, just don't know it. Some still see suicide as a moral issue, and that's not always the case.

I used to be in a much darker place but I have noticed brief spells when I least expect it of thoughts that my whole world is caving in around me and that there is nothing worth living for. Its a really weird feeling but there really is something to the whole life being great one moment then the next its the worst. Im a creative mind also so I wonder if there really is a correlation there. I think about death a lot. More so in the sense that life is precious and wonder what life would be like when I die or wonder how I will die, etc. Sometimes I fear that one day my mind will trick me bad enough that I might end it. Until then I am just doing everything I can to take care of myself but its definitely an ongoing battle.
It is a battle but worth fighting. One day a time. This will pass 🙏 tomorrow will be a better day.

Just shows how horrible depression and anxiety are. I lost my son in 2021. Even millions of dollars doesn’t prevent it. But also with the stigma a lot of people are afraid to get the treatments for acute D such as ect, which has changed a lot since the “Cuckoo’s Nest” days.
