We were there in April 2023 with the “Switch it Up” huddle. It was so wonderful and what a beautiful area. We didn’t have enough time to do all the things so we will be returning.
The huddle looked like an amazing time. We will have an episode out soon on our visit to Anakeesta Mountain Top Theme Park in Gatlinburg, TN.

The layout of the campground reminds me a lo of Talona Ridge in Ellijay Georgia
It always amazing me when a company has the vision to transform a rolling terrain like this into a well thought out RV park for big rigs!
That's a great looking park. It's a little far away (2,227 Myles). I did enjoy the tour. Definitely would stay in the park a few days to relax and take advantage of all the amenities. Thanks OJM

We had to pay like everyone else! We stayed at Yogi Bear last time, and it was just OK,........This place was "the bomb" and wanted to tell folks about it!

Love your videos. What is missing from your videos is Mark & Sue sitting under the coach awning relaxing and enjoying. And…having owned a Wanderlodge,Monaco & 2 Newmars (4369 & 4081) I’m stuck on how often you are having to spend big bucks just to keep Myles on the road
I think folks have to understand the expenses have to always be compared to living in it full time vs. using your RV for vacationing,...........every flush,.....every dish wash,.....every physical move,.......every shower,..............every use of the A/C unit, happens every single day of the year,.....for 7 years non-stop so far. NO SYSTEM gets to rest or dwell. Full-timers are the torture testers for RVs! That is a night and day difference when compared to owning and just using an RV.

Always love heated pools that are really heated! AND resorts smart enough to have hot tubs, and extended late hours of operation so you can use them after being out exploring all day long.
That is a really nice review!! I sure won’t ask how much because I can take a good educated guess, just like some of the Florida resorts.

We stayed at Anchor Down near there a couple of years ago, which was another very nice family oriented resort. Terraced just like The Ridge Outdoor RV Resort. We didn’t like the crowds and traffic in the vicinity of Pigeon Forge, but I’m sure it’s tolerable for families with young children. We avoided Pigeon Forge and just made our way to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park each morning. That is a beautiful part of our country.
The traffic is definitely something to get prepared for. Since we are retired, and only have to endure it for a week every few years we are OK with it. Plus, the place has so much to do & see in a relatively small area.

We stayed in West Allis WI at the State Fair Grounds at $34/day on the Monthly rate. We felt like splurging!

What a nicely designed Rv park! I was just passing through that area on my way to and back from taking the Blue Ridge Parkway from Asheville, NC up to the north end of Shenandoah National Park. The leaves were beautifully adapting to cooler weather change as fall was approaching its prime peak. And yes, this Texan couldn't pass up the opportunity to stop and top off the tanks at the new Buc'ees in Sevierville. Side note: While fueling up at Petro's located on the east side of Little Rock, AR., I thought I recognized Cindy, traveling with two other ladies fueling up a van with Cali tags, if that wasn't Ms Cindy, she has a twin! Also, Myles' new shiny skirt sure looks good 👀! 🚐😎🍁
I sent your kind reply on to Cyndi! She has sold her Dutch Star, 5th wheel & F450 truck. She has a beautiful home we visited once already. I suspect she will be getting a rig of some type again as soon as the dust settles. She will be officially a "part-timer" then.

This park was wisely selected by the Rally Company for the Smokey Mountains Rally we attended. We added on 3 nights BEFORE the rally at $109/night during the first week of October 2023.
Was thinking about going there this spring. Instead going back to Branson. Too far a drive to PF vs Branson for me. Even Branson is a push at 9 hour drive.

We won this stay & rally tour of attractions 3 years ago at an RVillage Rally. It it was a lot of shows and eating! One of the show stoppers was visiting the Biltmore Estate. It was a 1.5 bus ride to get there. It was a private residence,.......and is the largest in the USA at 175,000 square feet. It was dumbfounding to think someone would build a house this big "to entertain friends." I say,.......rent a hall. You can also stay on the grounds,.....
