Sanchez is an average Goalkeeper. Petrovic in my opinion is a better option.

same, except maresca wants to use sanchez, petrovic is better at sanchez main attribute imo
I totally agree. I've never understood why we signed him in the first place. I watched a lot of Brighton games and honestly he was not a good goalkeeper.
Ok, maybe I sound crazy but I'll never understand why we didn't sign Grabara last summer. He is a far better goalkeeper in pure defending (which was probably the most important thing for Poche) and actually it would be even smarter now because Kamil's foot skills are so underrated.
He is the kind of GK who plays in small clubs (years in Liverpool academy, then mostly in Kopenhaga where he was the best GK in the league, now he goes to Wolfsburg for some funny 13. 5m price tag), but he was praised by the likes of Haaland (who said after the City-Copenhagen game that the goalkeeper was crazy), Bruno Fernandes (after United lost) and, perhaps most importantly, Szczęsny (who is a legend and no one will say another word), who named Grabara the future number one in Polish goalkeeping ahead of Marcin Bułka (who is already the best goalkeeper in the League One).
For me, that was the biggest mistake of last summer.
And it is good. Kamil will have a great season in the Bundesliga and I am almost 100% sure that he will replace Neuer at Bayern or Tibo at Real Madrid (if Lunin leaves). Take a screenshot. I am sure of it.
Not saying he's better than Petrovic. But he was phenomenal against Celtic and was let down by the defence. The club have also made it clear they want to loan Petrovic and keep Sanchez, if he doesn't work out this season he's gone next summer.
Petrovic is not it in my opinion. Actually feel better with Sanchez over him but neither is the answer. Should have went after Diego Costa
Mudryk could really use a loan spell imo, somewhere where he can make mistakes and wont be in the spotlight for it. Could truly allow him to flourish.

If Mudryk stays then that means Sterling stays. It makes sense in terms of who's better, but this season might be the only opportunity we have to sell Sterling.

for me Disasi and Chalobach are the most experience and best central defenders we have. selling them will take us any
chance to get top 4. Colwill is too young and inexperience, Badiashile and Fofana are in very bad forms.

I can actually see something in Disasi, not in Badiashile. I don’t get the emphasis on our managers thinking Badiashile is anywhere good enough for us. Especially after this woeful preseason from him.

U21 players don't count to 25 man limit. So Achempong, Lavia, Ugochukwu, Gusto all can be outside.
Gusto turned 21 in May, but Guiu remains U21
@@johnb7714 the word "u-21" is really misleading, but regardless the rule says that anyone born on the 1st of january 2003 or after counts as a u21 and that thus includes malo Gusto and pretty much every other player we have who are 21 years old this year.

Colwill and Carney are also U21
Disasi should stay. He will come good. Cucurella was in a similar situation but he has virtually become one of our best players now.

Without biased analysis and looking at games objectively, Colwill has been no better than any defensive players since he’s been here. Ridiculously overrated. Can’t defend! I’d rather have 2 right footed defenders who can tackle than a left footed defender who can’t defend. Badashile and Colwill are not good enough. I like the look of Veiga and I’d play him with either T. adebayo and W.Forfana

I respect you because you keep three central fowards in team, Oshimen, Jackson and Guiu they all can play nr 9 well. This is a major problem we had after Olivier Giroud left the club. Havertz was not a nr 9.
Mourinho always change Central Forward in min 63 which means he always used two per match, having three in the squad is a must in case one gets injuried.
And remember we're competing in 4 competitions this season. We didn't have europe last season and were still lacking squad depth.
Osimhen moves the needle, with Palmer, Nkunku, Neto, Madueke around him, he'll bag a lot of goals.
I believe he’s no better than Jackson is now. Jackson has the ability to be our best frontman since Drogba.
@@Aidey75 your opinion, if you look at the facts Osimhen has a higher finish percentage, experience, more goals per 90min, he's won a trophy, better passer with a 73% completion rate(which suits Maresca's style) better link up play, better header of the ball at set pieces, Jackson who is still raw would only benefit & learn a lot from him.

I think keeping the emotions aside , we should be selling reece james. He's injury prone. we need someone like azpalicueta who xna play week in week out.

@@lilbaz8073 makes it 16 non HG. 4 club trained is easy, just pick James, Colwill and 2 academy players, they don't count towards squad total anyway. Sanchez, Bettinelli, James, Colwill, KDH, Palmer, Sterling, Madueke, Tosin all count as HG. Lavia, maybe, not sure what age he joined City academy.
Gotta keep Ugochukwu...he's been cooking with minimal playing time...imagine him with more minutes. Chukwuemeka should be loaned or sold really there is no space for him

Players like Chukwuemeka, Archampong, Lavia, Colwil, and Madueke will be enlisted in the homegrown list, so they don't necessarily don't need to be on the 25-man list
Mudryk doesn't get the ball much - and it's frustrating. It can actually be lethal to a defense. If Maresca turns it on, it will be cool
Mudryk is not living up to expectations. Stop making excuses for him. He has shown he is not good enough yet. He needs to put in more efforts to finesse his footballing
If it was going to happen for Mudryck at Chelsea it would have happened by now, he's had more than enough opportunities to prove himself. He consistently has no impact in game's and we simply can't afford the luxury of indulging him any further. Frank Lampard has said "he doesnt understand the game" ...nuff said.
I don’t know why Sanchez should be in our team,,,, looking at the criteria or the qualities maresca is looking for in his goalkeepers…..
So badiashile is better than disasi. Badiashile can't run, can't jump, cant take on one on one, no physical strength, lazy as a defender. He has no attributes as a defender, he can't even use his hight. He should be sold.
They can even dash him out for free. He's causing more harm.
Except for defenders like Gusto, James and Cucurella, Chaloba we are trying to sell is better than all the defenders playing for Chelsea

Overall a great one, better football knowledge than most of the channels! 3 tweaks I would suggest:
Sanchez out (costs us too many goals with his too many errors)
Petrovic stays (as 2nd choice keeper)
Guiu needs a loan (if we bring in Osimhen)
Unfortunately George you can’t sell Sterling because of his wages £325,000 per week. NO CLUB in right mind will be paying him this wages, unless Saudi clubs will show any interest. This where we are with Raheem.

Completely agree. There are still some maybes about who will be possible to sell, but I feel the same about potential and financial points of view. What I think is going on is the damage control. With previous ruined transfer windows we need to rotate some players. It looks bad having so many players, but if the managerial team will be able to sell and loan those not needed players, it could get us to the green numbers or at least to zero. And that could be potential start of a new and very successful Chelsea generation winning trophies.
I love how Marc Guiu has been playing in pre-season and would love him to stay but if he isn't gonna get game time he needs to go on loan. We could have a real gem with him but if he stays and sits on the bench he's just gonna be wasted.

Guiu looks very good indeed only seen him a few times but he's definitely worth keeping at our squad

Why not sell Reece james? He plays only 10% of the games. Chelsea have a very good backup in Malo gusto. Chelsea could earn lot of pure profit if they sell him
think fully agree with this squad, the issue is probably getting rid of all those players in the remaining 2 weeks
Slonina is on loan to Barnsley and just saved two penalties to qualify them to the next round of the Carabao Cup. I think it's more likely that the owners will sell Petrovic than loan him and keep Slonina until he is ready.
Lesley needs a whole season playing consistently out on loan… got a lot of potential.
Madueke is our only winger that truly plays down the line and can break defensive lines… keep.
Mudryk although gives u that excitement when he goes full speed at defenders you know the end product is just not there yet far from it… he needs a loan just like Lesley where with a more consistent amount of game time and without the pressure of the premier league to be able to improve, loads of potential but stuck in his shell.
Guiu is a player that will come so important when we play teams that have a low block

James, Gusto and Cucurella are the only defenders I know right now at Chelsea, I might include Viega.

Thing is, it won’t pan out like that as the new ownership has already established a chaotic way of doing things in the transfer market. I think we’ll have 7+ players surplus to requirements just languishing in the squad and prob damaging team morale

Exactly my point. If mudryk stays, he won't have much game time to keep developing. Loan is the best for him while Sterling stays for this season as one of the experienced players in the squad.

I agree with this logic, but the sales need to come through ASAP to give us the options. Ugochukwu could be missed if have a midfield crisis, and Chukwuemeka could break through with some Conference League gametime.
Great video as usual - However, to put your mind at rest, I believe that the Premier League 25-man list can include Under 21 players (born on or after 01-01-23) in addition to the 25.Although having more than 25 is unrealistic and unwieldy you can include extras if they are under 21. Included in such a list would be Gusto, Colwill, Ugochukwu, Chukwuemeko, Casadei, Washington, Kellyman, Guiu, Gabriel, Lavia, Acheampong and George. Therefore, many options.... let me know if I've got this wrong.

I am worried about defence I think we have the quality they just need to show it and consistently.
The only one I don't agree with is the Ugochuku loan I think he's proved to be very useful and if we can't sella Sterling then we could loan Mudryck

players in the list: Carney, Guiu, Acheampong, Lavia dont take up a space. Also need 8 homegrown players so expect to keep one of Chilwell or Sterling. Expect Felix and Osimhen to arrive and one of Disasi or Chalobah to stay and Casedei to be sold.
Loan Mudryk, Ugochukwu looked a beast in pre season. He has to make the squad for me.

We are looking at a couple of transfer bans due to FFP i think that's why we got so many players on the books at the moment.
Sterling has 18 goal contributions last season and this is considered a bad one imagine when he plays with Maresca who has seen him be coached at his best and can replicate that
The defence is so weak that no amount of attacking play will compensate for it. We must offload Badiashile as a matter of priority and loan Mudrych. We need to target a world class centre back to fill the void left by Silva…. Plus eat humble pie and keep Chalobah.

1) Carney should go on Loan get some more valuable minutes .
2) Chelsea shld offer Mudryk on Loan to athletico to coverup Felix departure. As we already got Neto.
3) Tie Acheampong with contract and let me leave on loan , and gain some senior experience.
4) Chalobah plays as CB, RB and DMC , i dont think its wise to sell him.
5) Disasi should be retained looking at the injury prone Reece, Colvil and Fofana. Infact Badiashile should go on loan and gain some form, We got Veiga for cover.
6)Datro should go on Loan. He is Still raw.
7) Chilwell should go on loan. At Chelsea u cant expect managers to stay there for decades . What if enzo gets sacked after 6 months and new manager wants out n out left back.

I don`t see why this players should stay:
1- Sanchez - avarage GK and need something much better. He is not good enough for Chelsea and reaching top 4.
2. Fofana - not even avarage CB, a lot of mistakes and a lot of unnecessary pressure in the team because of his poor judgment. He is not good enough for Chelsea and reaching top 4. Need to buy a much better CB or Chalobah to stay, because he is better than him.
3. Dewsbury-Hall - I didn`t see the need of signing him. Didn`t see nothing from him in preseasons. Maybe "good" for the bench.
4. Chalobah - huge mistake to be sold. Probably one of the best players in this team.
5. Gallagher - huge mistake to be sold . One of the best players in the team.
The rest of the players are how should be. About Osimhen - its will be a very good signing, but the people behind him need to provide to him chances.
