Thanks for the shoutout mate! Loved the video, you helped make all 10 of these games shine! Very under the radar games, and some often considered stinkers, but I think people should see past their flaws now in 2019, and enjoy these games for what they are, completely pick up and play gems with hours of fun! :)

Great video, mate. If I may, I’d like to mention a few of what I consider to be great hidden gems on Dreamcast:
    - Record of Lodoss War (a fantastic Diablo style action rpg on the Dreamcast that is a spin-off of the Record of Lodoss War anime series). Great gameplay, interesting ideas on powerups that makes it unique among the Diablo clones. It could have better graphics but it is great for what it is. It is a Dreamcast exclusive and a wonderful action rpg.
    - EGG (Elemental Gimmick Gear), also a fantastic action rpg in the vein of Zelda with some influence from Metroid. I think the game should have been done 100% on 2d graphics but, alas, they decided to follow the trend at the time and include some 3d boss fights that, for me, take us away from the wonderful atmosphere and visuals provided by the amazing art of the 2d world and characters that are there for 90% of the game. Nonetheless, another unique and very interesting exclusive action rog game on the Dreamcast.
    - Evil Twin Cyprien’s Chronicles. A very atmospheric platform / adventure game that has wonderful art and character design, a beautiful soundtrack (one of the best I’ve ever heard in any videogame) and great voice acting. The game lacks polishing though, it is tougher than it should be on many levels due to some awkward design and a poorly implemented battle system that is functional but flawed. However just the atmospheric environments and characters, the acting, and the absolutely wonderful soundtrack alone make this game a gem, albeit a rough one, worth a look. There is a version of it on the PS2 but the Dreamcast one has better visuals.
    - Looney Tunes Space Race. A fantastic “Mario Kart” style racing game (with some Wypeout elements thrown in such as hovering futuristic vehicles and tracks) set in the Looney Tunes universe. A chaotic, fun game with amazing graphics that really makes you feel you’re playing a cartoon. There is a version of it on the PS2. Both versions have their good and bad side. For some stupid reason, the Dreamcast one has the better graphics and faster gameplay but it lacks a Tournament mode (a huge letdown for me). The PS2 has somewhat inferior graphics and not so fast gameplay (but still very good graphics and gameplay) but it does have the Tournament mode. I have both versions and love both of them.
    - Wacky Racers. Another “Mario Kart” style game, based on a famous cartoon, it also had great cell shaded graphics like Looney Tunes Space Race and it has influences from Diddy Kong Racing, with a huge hub world where you drive to get to levels and races and you have to compete with some characters on one on one “boss” races to unlock them as playable characters. Funny and addictive game.

Almost forgot about Super Magnetic Neo! Good Choice! 😎 I was thinking Confidential Mission. StarLancer and Maken X although you might have picked Maken X in another video! 🙄

Great video. I’ve not heard of some of these games. Even on other folks’ hidden gem lists.

Solid fucking games to add. I wish they would of made a Shadowrun for the Dreamcast, it would of fit like a glove.

I bought the mrs. and I a dreamcast for christmas, so definitely been on the hunt for new games! I forgot about expendable and from the looks of it it's what 3D contra should've been! also have to pick up omikron it doesn't seem to have gotten crazy expensive, yet. (I got it free on steam but don't think I ever found a good controller solution for it)

    Not bad, but id like add the following games;
    1. Zombie revenge: great run n shoot style of zombie game. That can even be played with a buddy.
    2. Sonic adventure: hours of gameplay and can even play as super sonic if certain standards are met.

    Unpopular opinion warning !!
With exception of Deadly Skies (Airforce Delta) and Expendable this would rather qualify as my personal 'Top10 To Avoid' tbh. I don't mean to sound like a dick, but imo none of the games shown here has aged very well. The low poly graphics looked already outdated back when these games were brand new and time sure didn't do them any favors. Same with Hydro Thunder and SF Rush 2049. I never understood why those were considered 'Hype', even in 4k they don't look significantly better than a PS1 game to me. The DC had much more potential than most of the games shown here would lead you to believe, but as always it would all depend of capable developpers.
PS: To me it's the indie games, fan translations and prototypes that are the real hidden gems, because they're mostly being overlooked.
I highly recommend you try these:
    - Propeller Arena (unreleased because of 9/11)
    - Frame Gride (EN patched)
    - Fire Pro Wrestling D (EN patched)
    - Toejam & Earl 3 (Prototype)
    - Mobile Suit Gundam: EFF vs Zeon DX (JP) (possibly the best Gundam game ever made and very enjoyable even without knowing japanese)
    - the very solid ports of Doom and Rise of the Triads (Homebrew)
    - Half-Life (unreleased, only playable on PC or real DC hardware though, not on any handheld devices yet)
    - also keep an eye out for the upcoming fan translations of Blue Submarine No.6 and Baldr Force EXE (patches may be final in 1 or 2 years eventually)
    + other prototypes i forgot

Before even watching, i wonder if there even are any hidden gems on it? I feel like most of the good games are known to the fans since its library is so small.. lets see if i agree on these picks being «hidden» and good :-)
