Baggio Baggio no it should be plug n play no code or reset required. Check your fuses for the horn or if you got the clock spring used the horn harness inside might be bad. But I’ll try with fuses first. Hope that helps!

Al-Tawazun Transports make sure clock spring is fir the right model. If you bought a new one but it doesn’t support the paddle shifter then the shifters will not work.

I just got a brand new clock spring installed for a 2012 550xi. The indicator doesn't flip back in position when the steering is turned opposite direction, and also has a warning on dash. Does this need codes reset?
What is the tool called to remove the steering air bag out of the way? The tool that goes inside the small hole at the rear bottom of the steering wheel?
