If you want to hear impressive speakers on a laptop, you should hear the 2.1 set-up on my old XPS 17. 22w JBL speakers with Waves Maxx psychoacoustic & leveling processing. I still haven't heard anything close. They easily reach down to 70hz. Of course it's a 2011 laptop so it's limited to CZcams and movies.
Wow that sounds incredible for a laptop. I'd honestly not bring a portable speaker if I was traveling with it. It's maybe a bit bright and not as full in the low mids as the vifa but off axis it should be less so. Nonetheless hearing a bass response like that out of a laptop is incredible and without uneven and a lot of the times peaky midrange in most other laptops.
@@nanospace2389 excursion is also a big thing. Also, the speakers on the MacBooks are force-canceling, which reduces distortion and gives cleaner soundS

10:03 with new Android phones you can also choose if you want the volume to be in sync or not with the speaker. Or at least I can with my Note 9. Great video btw!
My phone (samsung a50) does also sync volume. But you can turn it off. Which i found really nice. But it exists longer already on samsung phones. I had a j7 2017 before the a50, and it also had the syncronisation
The available space for speakers is very limited in a laptop. Although the Vifa wins ( why even bother with the JBL's), the Macbook sounds beyond expectations it being a laptop.
How about HP laptops with B&O sound? I've got HP Spectre X360 (2020 edition). For a 13 inch laptop I think it sounds amazing. Also, the Lenovo Yoga C940 is nice. Any opinions about that? Thanks for any response.
Hi I have a question about the macbook air 13 inch volume compare to the macbook pro 16 inch touch bar. Are there higher volume at mac 16 inch than mac 13 air?
MSI GT series. GT75 has a massive subwoofer and pretty big woofers, so the bass goes deep and the system gets very loud with no distortion. I'm sure the GT76 probably sounds equal or better. It's a completely different size class of laptop though so it's not very comparable.
Listening to this on the 16" MacBook Pro, and I can say that the recording of the MacBook really made the quality worse than how it sounds natively, so basically it sounds even better in real life (which you would probably expect). I continue to be impressed by Apple when they really hit the sweet spot with certain things.
Yeah, it really is great. The microphones he used to record this are quite good, but in real life it of course sounds even better. The sound from the 16 inch MacBook Pro still surprises me every day.
Thanks We’re still working on them of course and some final housings will arrive in the following weeks They should be here already but because of the current situation it’s a bit delayed But the technical stuff I have here already won’t stop:)
@Speaker which of these speakers is for you the best in terms of sound quality and bass between the b & o p2 minirig mini 2 bose sound microphone viva city?
i would say that the vifa city is best, for playing more honest, at higher levels gets some pumping issue but not that bad considering its size, but for a more meatier and a bit deep sounding bass while remaining the most honest i w'd say minirig mini 2 is best(still w8ing for a full review for this one though).
@@jo69an45 well the a1 is slight bigger and as a 2 way design will be a bit unfair against all these, but considered your suggestion i can't really recommend the a1 at all the 1st is ok for the price but not really honest, as for 2nd it is indeed honest but they castrated it so compared to the 1st it wont be as deep overall also treble sometimes is not as good and at higher lvls for the price the 2nd gen sounds like a toy.
Macbook pro 16 inch definitely better speakers, but Jbl is cheaper so if you want cheap speaker buy Jbl. But the speakers on macbook pro's were always very good. And vifa city also sounded very good for a small speaker.

Very nice production! Finally a PROPER good quality sounding comparisons to get a real feeling of the quality and difference 💯💯💯👍
Great review. Would be good to do this same process with the newer M1 14" and 16" models since they are much better.
The 2019 model has more balanced sound , but the M1 models have more punchy sound

most laptops just have two tiny speakers which sound ok but have no room to move so it makes a distorted sound

Can you tell if the iMac hard drive was a fusion drive or ssd?
How old was the iMac?
Thanks
It’s from 2017 and has a fusion drive

Nice video... the MacBook sounds more appealing than the vifa because it is stereo.
Thanks:)
Stereo is a big advantage indeed
@Speaker Toni which sound better Bose Soundlink Micro or Vifa City?
Pullo Duyu the Vifa City
The bose has more bass at low volume, but at high volume it distorts a lot and sounds really lost and processed...

I don’t think so

Hey nice video, can you recommend a speaker that is better than your MacBook
honestly you would have to shell out money on wired speakers to get a similar experience.

Asus and MSI do force-cancelling woofers on their laptops.

For the price of the MacBook Pro it better sounds good...
Kikker Lars it’s not a speaker. Dell XPS15 sounds trash lmao. And they spec up to the be the same price. Apple is doing extras
I guess when you charge $1000 more than anyone else for the same specs, you can put a bit better speakers in.
I know they are small speakers inside the Macbook, but being better than a (bad) $30 speaker is nothing exceptional...
Hello xd
Very POOR music choice .. !!!
Random Palmtop Gaming instead of complaining how about recommending something better?
They both sound crappy...but thats just my opinion.
There are three speakers here so what are both?
