The substories are still yakuza comedy, the main plot is semi serious, and the characters are just as loveable as they are in the main line titles. Plus it was a blast playing as majima for the first time ever. The story is short yes but seeing the city destroyed, having endless dungeons, a huge array of weapons both cool and werid, and a crazy ass sound track. The downsides is it runs bad, and the camera is your worst enemy

With Kiryu having his own party in 8, I think Akiyama 100% has to be a party member. Next to Date, he is definitely Kiryu's most reliable ally and it would make sense for him to be on Kiryu's team, since he definitely knows he is alive.

Why do Ryuji's character model looks so old though, dude's supposed to be 35 in this game and looks like 50, meanwhile Kiryu who's 8 years older than him, looks way younger. Good thing Dragon engine made Ryuji looks young
