The PO scandal (small c) has been discussed regularly in every pub in the country for well over a decade. To claim those in corporate governance of that very entity hadn’t heard even a mutter, is blindingly deceitful.
He is a very smooth talker without an even normal level of curiosity and apparently is oblivious to any and all media. We can surely assume that he lives high above the rest of us mere mortals.
This comms man later became Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Defence and then National Security Advisor. How did he fulfil the criteria for those roles? Were the main part of those roles comms? Was he just another compliant mandarin who presents himself well and did as his political masters wanted (colloquially known as an 'arse kisser')? Oh, he also studied at Oxford!
