A little bit of a lore speculation. When Ornstein became one of Gwyn's 4 knights, he was given a part of Gwyn's soul. As he and Smough stayed behind to protect Gwenivere, Ornstein decided to run away in search of Gwyn's son. The Ornstein you fight is speculated to be an empty suit being controlled by Ornstein's portion of Gwyn's soul. That would explain the power up that leads to phase 2. Smough absorbed the soul.

The best for lower blight town and the darkroot basin hydra fight. Imo the best ring for traversal use

it was quite noticeable that you forced a bit on your voice on the videos before, now it even feels like you're enjoying more recording the voice part, and its quite more enjoyable to hear too xd

bro idk if you’ve tried falchion/scimitar in DS1/DSR but it legit puts the game on easy mode, giving you crazy ass DPS

Gg, personally I prefer the one handed moveset for Uchi and the two handed set for Iaito.
Iaito has slightly better scaling but even at 40 dexterity it's not that much better.
Im personality considering doing an inosuke run for dark souls, which of the dexterity swords would be viable (not inculding UG)
The iato would be a good choice if you want something good and looks the part kinda. But if you don't care about looks if you kill the npc Shiva of the east you can get the Murakumo it scales A in dex.
Edit: the murakumo is an ultra greatsword I think so idk about that one.
Chaos Blade i would say ngl
great sword, increase damage with humanities
its only hard to obtain without glitches
overall its a W dex weapon
but i would suggest doing Iguro Obanai run
since Flamberge is a damn good weapon
What's your guys least favourite class im not sure yous have mentioned it
Hey Charles here, my least favorite is pyromancer due to it giving me trouble when trying to do pyromancy only runs over the years, and Curtis hates the cleric class because he really doesn't like running holy equivalent builds.
@@CharlesandCurtis Gosh, my first ever playthrough was as a Pyromancer, I had no idea what I was doing and hit the brick wall that is Blight town, dropping the game at that point. I'm glad I came back to it though.

i don't own the remastered, and the uchigatana +8 does 39 damage to the golem. and +5, 23 to queelag...
