It's his choice. He's using CZcams because he's making tens, if not hundreds of thousands (some channels make millions) on ad revenue. CZcams doesn't like putting ads on controversial content. So he has the choice to not monetize them and have final cut on what's presented (within reason) or to rake in the money, complain a lot, and not show controversial content.

The videos are blocked because you have it labeled under "Education" , change it to "Hunting" and you will stop being censored. Killing animals is allowed just use the correct labeling. There are plenty of graphic hunting videos on CZcams

It’s not CZcams that is sensitive. It is a loud minority (less than one in thousands) that are sensitive, and CZcams always acts on it when it gets a number of complaints that are not obviously fraudulent, even if they are totally misguided.

I have one of these as well as another brand of electronic trap and the only real complaint I have with them is you must be sure to keep the contact plates clean. dust, dirt and moisture will reduce the effectiveness. many of the critters zapped in the trap will urinate. the moisture will collect dirt and such. so keep your zapper clean.

I don't know why, but I always find your trap videos fascinating and amazing to watch sometimes. Mostly it's because I'm curious how each trap will work, function, and if it stays true to its word of working.
Not to mention, the more I wonder how you manage to buy all of these traps, hahaha.
The censor thing sucks but youre so humble about it, such a wholesome dude.
You should probably consider on making a cinematic view of the trap (f.e. View from the side, so it does not show the footage of the mouse/squirrel being killed. You should mostly set it to the back of the trap in front view so you can see the target entering the trap.
CZcams takes the fun out of everything.
Honestly it's part of life, if you don't want to see this type of stuff then don't watch it it's freaking common sense. This is only for getting rid of over population and teaching others that, he doesn't just do it for fun. Love your videos dude keep up the good work

since youtube censored this I went out and bought one and tested it on my pet dog, worked... better than expected.
Thanks for this video. I bought one of these traps, whilst setting it up, I noticed that the instructions state not suitable for squirrels. I decided to return it, searched on Google for squirrel traps and found 2 sites had this listed on their top 10 squirrel traps, as well as this video. I'm going to cancel the return and use it!

Keep up the excellent videos Shawn! The brief censor of the moment of death does not detract from the educational and informative nature of your videos at all. I'm sure it's a little annoying to have to put a little extra effort into the edit, but I honestly find it even more annoying and sad that people would unsubscribe from your channel for something so utterly trivial.

I have this for almost 2 yrs. Never a Squirrel was trapped. I witnessed one going In more than half. She got zapped but she got out.The power is not enough for something bigger than a mouse. I didn't try with the wire. Also I will add that this trap is extra very sensitive to water.
Ps . you have to clean the blood and liq comming from the 🐁. If the mouse🐁 stays overnight and it's hot the smell will scare next one . All i want to say is effective for the 1 st one. Then you have to clean it very well.

I had a terrible infestation in my 1st floor apartment because I had left the patio door open for hours each day during the fall in northern Virginia. Nobody told me they had mice on the property until it was too late. I caught several using a tube method that closed the door when the mouse went to the other end for the bait. It wouldn't catch the young mice because they were too light. I caught a few with glue traps but several escaped leaving a bunch of fur and I just couldn't stand to see them suffer. The electronic one worked the best. It was especially nice to have the signal letting me know a mouse had been killed. It killed all the adults and the young. A lot of the traps never worked and the poison ones didn't work either. By the time I moved out there were no more mice.
I wonder... if you setup this trap at a 45 degree downward facing angle at the top of a wooden ramp, maybe the dead rodent would then fall out and it would auto-reset?

Could you roughen up the surfaces and put this Rodent trap up in an angle, so that dead mice and rodets fall out with the help of gravity? The bait would have to be sticky, but it would kill multiple rodents without a manual reset.
I have this trap, easy to bait and clean but I've never caught anything with it so far, next time I will use better bait and use the batteries and place along the wall.

Just wondering what is the amperage, as volts do not kill, it's the amperage that does that. in marketing it always sounds better to show the big number voltage than the low amp numbers I guess. Really like your videos..
