In the early 90's I worked at tThe Blackeyed Pea restaurant in Beaumont, Texas. Fried corn was on the menu! It was really good and pretty popular! I haven't thought of fried corn in so long! Thanks for a little blast from my past! I might try to make some myself one day soon! Thanks, Nikki!

Oh my lord thank you thank you thank you for you being who you are I get to get some of my Appalachian food back just over a decade ago I moved from the Smokey mountains used to drive 50 min one way to this gas station on the right in Townsend they used to sell deep fried corn on the cob. My daughter and I would pick up a dozen in the early mornings first Saturday of the month and go fishing. I miss that corn haven’t had it since and now thanks to your lovely self I get to feel like I’m back in the holler having deep fried corn on the cob with freshly pickedand cooked mudbugs from sandy hollow creek.
