    I had one last winter with rear cab. It manouvers well,pushes a lot,and I loved the engineering,every important part is heated and isolated. Really easy to drive, comfortable

      Cool!! They are such versatile machines, and user-friendly. Stu is correct about the solid-feeling doors, like a BMW or something. Gotta love those Germans!! (the 34 in my channel is from bmw e34) I'm glad you got to enjoy one of these cool machines! And thanks very much for watching!!

    I drive an older Prinoth Husky on a private ranch just east of you. We have talked about upgrading next year to a newer husky or a PB100. I was leaning toward the Prinoth, but after seeing how fast that is I am changing my mind. I could get everything done in half the time with that.

    We have a PB100 that we use for grooming snowmobile trails, it’s our biggest and best machine. We also have a old PB70x

    I lived in Alaska for 13 years a quad won't break trail but as long as you've got a trail quads do fine in fact you can use a quad more months in a year in Alaska than a snowmobile

      Ah, nice!! Yeah that seems smart! They are certainly useful and easy to ride. Also can be very quiet. I bet it was pretty wild living up there for so long.. Super cool! Thanks so much for tuning in!!!

    • @samlovescars34
      @samlovescars34  Před rokem +1

      We try to keep the location a relative secret, but it's up in Northern Utah.. I think he just does it every couple of weeks or so! Not too bad. Thanks for watching!!!

    Thank god snowcat season is amongus again. I’m not really a fan of the Tesla steering wheel I feel like half the joy of snowcats is about the joy in the joystick.

    • @samlovescars34
      @samlovescars34  Před rokem +2

      Yes, indeed! Insane amounts of snow are coming.. So much that I can't even get up into the mountains until it's over. It's shaping up to be an amazing winter out here, and I'll film as much cool stuff as I can. Thanks as always for tuning in!!!

      @@ronbradshaw7404 you don't drive cats for saying that. Most modern machines, sticks or steering, have plenty of computerized functions for traction control/power management.

    • @ronbradshaw7404
      @ronbradshaw7404 Před rokem +2

      @@floydlyng4328 Hhahaah! did you experienced BOTH steering and Sauer Danfoss sticks?!, i don't think so. Doing 180deg. spins on a steering is not fun plus, going from forward to reverse seamlessly on a steering is impossible. Turning left (E.G.) on a stick; you can either slow down the left OR accelerate the right track. A steering will slow down the left only, making you loose momentum. Oh, and been "driving" cats for the past 30 years so...............

      @@ronbradshaw7404 My bad mate but I operate only sticks never tried out the steering and I just meant to say that from the generation MP 275 and on going all stick operated cats have had microprocessors to help manage the traction. And if you ever tried a bison t4 you'll see that you can almost 100% rely on the traction control to keep your traction optimal without having to pull back on the sticks
