Used to be a nothin but gm guy in my youth but after seeing what pickups look like these days I'm a fan of any of those older body style trucks.
New Ford SD's & GMC's aren't too too bad, but the Chevy & Rams are fugly!
I'm guessing either that sled couldn't go any lighter or the operator doesn't know how to set up for that class. They made it awfully hard on those trucks. Surprised one didn't break. Should have been able to slow down the box more at least I would think.
I love the cheaper than the wife truck. That is the best! Lol

Track too wet, extremely slick type of clay, sled too heavy, and slide rate too fast. Awesome trucks with drivers putting it all on the line. Great video. The track operators just overwatered the track and set the slide rate too high.
I remember going to a fly shop in Lebanon a while back
Who said you have to hurt the bank account just to get started in truck pulling!!!!!! That was a good class of trucks!!!!! They're not allowed to have weight on the front end are they?

So street stock is a blocked up rear end. Suspension travel not required for street use I reckon

Something don't seem right about this setup. Definitely believe some of those trucks should've done better.
I agree. Usually in the street stock classes the old trucks spank the newer ones. I also think a few of these guys were scared to hammer it
