G'day Lucas.
Another great video mate, keep up the great content.
When your ready to do Yarra Junction station, drop in to the Museum on a Sunday, we would be happy assist with your filming of the site and heritage VR building's at YJ.
G'day Lee! Thanks for the offer mate! We'll see you guys really soon! Will be in touch via email to the museum when we plan to film. Don't know when yet but will be soon
After you've done Yarra Junction with it's massive volume of timber traffic, Warburton's tourist traffic will make a nice contrast, there were heaps of guest houses for people escaping from the city to take in the country air and from the late 1920s until 1950 there was even a proper ski resort nearby.
How much would it actually cost to get the rail line back ?
short answer: a l o t
Apart from the huge cost of rebuilding, there would be a lot of protesters and nimbys who would delay any rebuilding for years and it would cost millions in lawyers and consultants fees to deal with all the obstacles they would put in the way.
