Bashing,It’s not my game but I ask you would you drop your receiver ten feet on to the floor? I don’t have a glue what the limit is for a modern circuit board or what you can get away with before the radio breaks, perhaps some foam or rubber under the receiver mounting might avoid breaking the little circuit board?
I use a balloon to waterproof the receivers and foam to limit the shock and I only crawl along today . I raced nitro back in the day and had a few radios stop working mid run leaving the nitro motor going and a runaway car.
The electronics today can take an amazing amount of abuse. Most electronic products are put in the cases with a silicone rubber covering the intire boards taken alotof the shock out of the hard landings. My older esc's were just the board inside a plastic case and did suffer from shock, but now they poor the silicon in the case with the board in them and the board's are permanently stuck in the case and water proof an shock proof. And for receiver's, there just 2 sided taped down and wp an shock don't seem to affect them much even tho there still just a electronic board in a plastic case. With no silicon surrounding it Luke the esc's do.
Do you feel this UDR project is still unreliable after installing the aluminum parts?
My udr is so heavy, if I so full throttle it flips because it's 8s lol and even the metal cage from lx shock
I want to see what it looks like with scx 6 rims and tires

Love the udr I’ve done almost everything Vitavon except the chassis one question I have is now it’s crazy heavy what motor esc combo would you recommend to get some more speed tops out now with stock motor at 33mph with all the extra weight! Running it on 4s ! Love the content keep up the great work!
I really want to get into a 2wd solid real axle race truck but I struggle finding what's available to build or buy. Would you consider making a video one day that goes over the different options for that type of project? Btw, the slow mo footage is epic!

Why didn't you install the Vitavon front bulkhead. You said full Vitavon. But the front doesn't seem to have the metal bulkhead.
it does have the front bulkhead its all there, I have an older video showing the chassis going in and you can see all of it there.
@@ExocagedRC My mistake. I have the whole set up. But your skid plate looks black and mine is chrome. Their body I don't like I want an unbreakable body like the one made for the Xmaxx.

Great vehicle ! Love vitamvon , I've always considered you to be the vitamvon guru , I've recently put vitamvon bead lock wheels on my hancho , with new super swampers , and I have a lot of in n out play on the wheels , would you know why ? We have a guy that has and swears by his udr , his is super fast on our track
in and out movement? like the axle is sliding in and out on the bearings? If so make sure the hexes are correct, those set the clearances for the movement you're describing from what I can tell.

I am more curious about that rear axle in the UDR that has some reduction? How does the overall design affects handling and durability etc. I like the scale looks of the F100 Baja Rey 2.0, what I don’t like is the flex on the chassis on the rear tire carrier.
