The Naturia Beast line doesn't work because Fusion Armament is not a proper summon of an extra deck monster. After it leaves the field you will not be able to summon it from the graveyard. This technically applies to the OG Chimera if you summon him via that method as well
You can just dump versago and still use fusion armament, set chimera fusion, their turn revive versago then activate chimera fusion and go into exterio.
I feel like people are underestimating Tao it gives you access to non-fusions if you don't open branded fusion, pretty consistently you can make I:P or a rank 4 in addition to both the Chimera and Berfomet fusion. Usually the fusions are in the grave but that is fine because you can use them both during your opponents draw phase to get an illusion, beast, or fiend and chimera back on board.
The lines are pretty varied based on what you open but for example if you open coatl and either gazelle or berfomet you use coatl to get the other you normal gazelle for fusion, fuse into chimera use berfomet to bring back coatl and search mirror with gazelle, get back the fusion spell use chimera and mirror to make the berfomet fusion dumping tao to bring back mirror, use berfomet and coatl to make I:P then use mirror to summon berfomet for gazelle and another fusion spell. During your opponents draw phase you can banish chimera to bring back whatever and banish berfomet to bring back chimera so mirror and coatl are still live and you have bodies to use with I:P and chimera fusion.@@mircoklein3938
Another toxic card for going first is D/D Orthros. Just run 2-3 effect veilers (Not a brick with Dimension Shifter out of the format) and also play Sanctifire in the extra.
i can't understand why so many people dont play a copy of sprigans kitt in chimera... kitt is by far the best combo extender the deck has access to and now with the new phantom berfomet fusion you can send versago to grave and then use kitt to search branded in white and make all sorts of additional boss monsters... i know it plays into nib but even playing kitt by itself is super helpful for the grind game being able to grab a fusion for the next turn
Dumb question probably But how does one summon nat beast since it wasn’t summoned properly and sent to the graveyard through fusion armament in your example. I’m sorry if I don’t understand but I was always taught things that were properly summoned through the extra deck couldn’t be summoned due to the fact it wasn’t summoned properly in the first place. The example I’d source is starlight road where you can’t bring back the stardust brought out by starlight road since it wasn’t properly summoned.

This might be cope but you could run beatrice in extra to overlay the fusions and get another foolish burial. This way you could use dark ruler berfomet to send unchained sharvara to set escape then make beatrice and use her to dump shyama to pop escape and go off from there
This would be a 1 card combo as well with mirror swordknight or coatle since you would go into your normal chimera plays, then once you have Chimera on your field add back chimera fusion and summon the other chimera using the illusion you added off of gazelle and the one you summoned from grave with berfomet, afterwards sending each of the unchained cards with berfomet fusion and beatrice
Pro tip; you can otk branded fusion and cornfield coatl in 3 summons; 1)tribute corn for mirror 2)fuse into albion with mirror#2 3)make lubellion w/ albion 4)make illusion beast with 2 mirror and corn for game Its a great strat for when they leave a monster in attack or if you can negate their towers with imperm/droplet first Also if you run 2 berfomet fusion instead of 2 of the other one, you can cycle the three infinitely

Fusion Armament is a GOATED card for Chimera. It serves as a pseudo Crossout Designator and a fusion body for this deck. Let me explain. Summoning out the OG Chimera for it's name specifically turns on your Illusion Gy effect during your turn before you have the chance to make Chimera the King of Beasts. This means, you have a lot more protection pulling off the entire Coatl/Mirrorknight/Beformat play. Because you have the name of OG Chimera, you turn on those gy illusion monster effects. You can effectively stop their imperm using Coatl, giving you some protection for your combo, though ash blossom still being the only real hand trap to stop it. Imperm protection for Beformet at least partially mitigate the risk of disruption for the combo. Now for sequencing, normally you always play Fusion Armament as your opening move unless you open Coatl, you play Coatly first and 9/10 they will let it through for you adding Mirrorknight. Now play Fusion Armament, it's too late to stop the combo now from your opponent. Now play out your combo, and your opponent will not be able to hand trap your entire mirrorknight move. Now with the OG Chimera, it has more utility besides it's name. It's a fusion monster where the OG name is built into the card. So you can use Chimera the King of Beasts as fusion material and still have access to the illusion gy effects since OG Chimera is there. If you run the patchwork engine, you can make Magnum Reliever easily using Chimera the King of Beasts as a mat for the summon + one in hand and you can make use of his effect, either putting back poly or fusion armament back to the deck to draw a card and you still have the other for his destruction effect. Also, you cannot somehow negate the name of from the OG Chimera unlike Chimera the King of Beasts who would lose the Chimera the Mythical Beast name if like Dark Ruler no More gets played on you. I will effectively remove Branded Fusion from my Chimera deck when I get the new Beformat fusion. With Tao, level 4 XYZ plays becomes possible. Getting access to Bagooska (fiend), Abyss Dweller against Tier/Horus engine, Dugares(fiend), TYPHOON (fiend), S:P Little Knight, and other link monsters is worth taking out Branded Fusion to not get fusion locked. Also, less vulnerable to D-Barrier, the biggest weakness to this deck if running Branded Fusion. As much as I hate telling tech about this deck in public, I also hate how people are disregarding how strong Fusion Armament actual is and I am still surprised how cheap the card is for what it does for at least Chimera.
You can’t stop ash with mirror swordknight. It only negates monsters your opponent CONTROLS, so ash is not something you can stop. Sure conrfield can stop imperm, but you don’t have protection from ash.
@@benomstream I did some research on ash blossom. You do control ash blossom when you activate the card. It doesn't need to be on the board to be considered controlling it. Just need to your opponent using the card. It doesn't get sent to graveyard until ash blossom activates it's effect. So yes, mirror swordknight does work on ash blossom. If you can test it on a simulator, that would be the conclusive test, but I am pretty sure that's how it works.

@@Jojoroe Doesn't work like that. Exterio can only be Fusion Summoned with Beast and Barkion specifically.

Yeah Dweller is the only rank 4 in my current list and it does a lot of work in a few matchups. The extra is fairly tight though

Tbh youre not missing anything, the fenrirs are usually dead unless in the first 5 cards and the second chimera NEVER gets summoned in my deck
