R.I.P. Bubble Man
3:04 - 3:06
He had something to say.
The underrated best theme in the game remains underrated.
Rest In Water Bubble Man. ;-; Atleast that area is peaceful and ridden of feminazis.
wow i haven't listened to this in like 8 years why do i still remember the lyrics
My best friend passed away in August last year. Back in 2010 I showed this to him on his birthday and he fell in love with this song. That night we played MVC3, ate pizza, drank some baja blast, and knocked back shots. It was our jam for several years and I always posted this song on his facebook when he had a birthday. Now this song feels raw and bittersweet to me. I miss you brother. Thanks for the memories Duane & Brando.
It's been 11 years and I still want to know what Bubble Man had to say...
Hey if you guys still read these you're not forgotten. I remember back in the day jamming out to your songs. Most people might not remember but the faithful still do. Thank you
I am shocked at how much of this I still remember. I would show the original video to friends back when I was 23. I’m 37 now. What a time to be alive.
I’m so happy this is still on CZcams. Life has changed a lot since I first heard it
"Look up in the sly
it's a bird, it's a plane
It's AIRMAN, bitch
and I'm bringing the pain"
Is one of my favorite DnB lyrics, I still use it randomly in everyday life
I have been singing this song in my head every day for 12 years.
"It's a man's world baby"
Because all the bots end in man. That is beautiful.
TEN YEARS AND SOMEONE FINALLY GOT IT. TIME TO DELETE EVERYTHING.
@@TheAdventuresOfDnB Ah yes, and what subtle reference was "get back in the kitchen. don't be flashin' your vag. Here's my backhand got a prob'm with that"?
2024 and this feels better than ever
It's the year 2016.
We *still* don't have any of the kickass fighting robots we were promised.
My first comment on this video was almost 10 years ago when I was 16. "This honestly has to be my favorite. I know the entire song. o.o"
Now I'm an adult who is married and doing adult things and oh boy do I still listen to this regularly, and I absolutely still know the entire song.
I remember first hearing this song one Saturday morning when I was 10! Got up early and was looking for MegaMan videos, then came across this gem. Now I'm 19, I randomly thought about this song and decided to give it another good listen. Feels great to be back!
I'll make sure to keep listening to this song when I get to your age for you!
"Look,
Without the guilt
I'll fuckin drink you in
Milk"
At This point
In this NES game
Megaman is fighting QUICKman
And he's threatening to drink NESQUICKman in MILK
these lyrics are genius (but you already knew that)
I remember when we thought we were so cool using those little o.o faces. Now look at us O.o
Got this song stuck in my head despite not hearing this for years
This video is over 3 years old and Duane and Brando are still posting comments here. I love you guys.
+THE ADVENTURES OF DUANE AND BRANDO
OMG you are still out there :D I thought that Video was on youtube since 2009? Or was it a re-upload.
Idk why I was so obsessed with video game raps when I was younger but I'm glad I grew up with this. It goes hard
This LP is always gonna have a special place in my heart. Used to listen to all of this on repeat in high school
The Air Man bit is STILL fire. I love it so much
Still lives in my head rent free to this day.
It's been almost 10 years to the date and "My name's megaman you can call me Rock [...]" STILL pumps the everloving shit outta me.
The Crash Man bars are stuck in my head to this very day.
"puttin crashman in the trashcan, like yesterday's tomatoes" I love it so much. This entire thing really, is still so good. Hilarious and full of energy.
It’s funny the memories that trigger randomly. The Punch-Out! rap blooped into my head and suddenly the whole album came flooding back. Still 🔥, still so memorable. Thanks for making these so long ago, had so much fun singing these with my bros and still remember every word.
Years later I keep coming back to this, just because it's so great. Nothing reminds me of it, it's just good and I want to hear it again.
I know right! It just pops up in my head and back I come to relish
Am i the only one who used this as a walk through playing mega man 2? This helped alot! I frikin continue to enjoy this after 3 years
I haven’t listened in almost 10 years, how do I remember everything.
When you slap this on and the youngsters think this was some sort of bonus unlock. Still perfection after all this time.
Still a banger.
Forever a banger.
Daammnn I came here to watch and listen again, because this masterpiece rap is now part of my childhood
I have to be honest. The Crash Man part is my favorite part of the entire song. It's just so goddamn catchy.
I’m offended...
...because the mecha dragon is impervious to saw blades. Misleading information.
@@MaoRatto exactly, that's why it's misleading, metal blades do not work for mecha dragon.
I remember levelin in Wrath of the lich king farming badges whilst listening to this on repeat.
Good times.
I like how QUICKman is the slowest rapper
+Highjumper 34 He sees everything as being faster than it really is, so he thinks he's talking at normal speed?
@@Fennaixelphox He'd see everything *slower*. He moves so fast, the world would have to keep up, and thus, speaks slowly so Mega isn't met with unintelligible chipmunk speak
@@FunkyHopper888 Like between Flash man, Heat man or Metal man. But my favourite was Air man.
I used to workout to this song 10 yrs ago. I'll add this awesome rap again to my workout playlist.
Man it's been like 10+ years since I first heard this. I actually love this old master compared to the newer remaster, it has so much character!
"I've got more hot than a cow has moo..." is such a ridiculously genius line lol.
Man it's been a solid 7 years since ive listened to this back in middle school, im in college and i still have this shit memorized. Glad Brando was able to start a new chapter for an old favorite group of mine
I can't hear the Mega Man 2 OST anymore without hearing these lyrics, so I came back to pay my respects.
Still holds up and I still sing it in my mind whenever I think about this game
It’s that time of the year again where I obsessively listen to Duane and Brand0
So feminists care more about a fictional housekeeping female robot than much of the other bad things that are happening in the world right now?
kek
But out of all seriousness: this is fucking radical. Plus those annotations at the Roll segment were fucking kekworthy.
+Scout Pilgrim Roll is a robot designed to housekeep.
Feminists only defends her because she's female. If she were a male and Mega a female, no one would defend Roll, even if feminists are considered to "keep the equality between men and women". So that's why I don't believe on feminist's bullshit, because there's no real feminism. Just like democracy.
+Scout Pilgrim Yes, that's basically modern feminism for you. Rush to the defense of fictional characters, but call anyone who criticizes Sharia Law "Islamophobic".
This is still one of the most banger songs from my childhood. I can still memorize the whole thing after all these years haha
In fact I recently reanimated the Air Man section because of how hard it goes
I'll be here after five, ten, no maybe 20+ years searching for soul
This era of DnB will forever live on in me. It's almost nostalgic at this point. Hope you guys are doing ok with whatever you're up to nowadays!
@@Ten_Thousand_Locusts I made the choice to upload my new stuff on a new channel and just allow this one to be a shrine. Things change.
@@TheAdventuresOfDnB hey man, yall have always been a massive part of my music life. It's been 10 years since this album released and I still unironically listen to it regularly. Even your amazing brando album list is a regular listen- Zelda light world on spotify sometime maybe ;) ?
All of Duane and Brando have brought so much fucking good feelings to me over the past decade. Through my highs and lows these songs have been there with and for me.
I just want to say thank you and I sincerely appreciate that you even still read these messages years later. Times have changed, but somethings are timeless- everything produced by yall will always be timeless to me. Thank you.
@@TheAdventuresOfDnB Just letting you know I love your music and still listen to it regularly! All these tracks are special to me! Thank you for providing me such happiness over the years, I truly appreciate the part you played in my life
This song was my guide for me to remember which order to defeat the Robot Masters. Damm what a nostalgic trip I am experiencing right now.
This was my childhood as a 2000 kid lol I still know the lyrics these years later... sad to see how d and b ended up. Brando hope youre doin well.
I saw this as a kid back in 2008 and I came here thinking this wouldn't hold up. What a pleasant surprise dude spitting his ass off.
Man.... the nostalgia on this one is real man. Especially the Air Man part. I used to always come back to this 9 years ago
Legend says that Duane and Brando are working on another retro-rap album.
This is forever a classic
This and I Cannot Beat Airman are like the great duology of MM2 parody songs.
10 years and still a banger.
The harmonization in Crash Man's part always *blows me away.*
Welcome to the comment section. Leave rational thought at the door and pick up a gun.
This will forever be one of the greatest things I´ve ever seen on CZcams.
To this day this song is how I remember the weaknesses of the Megaman 2 bosses haha
I love the added annotations. LOL
3:40 - 4:05
Still my favorite part. Still as amazing as I remember.
It’s been 8 years and I still know the Airman verse word for word.
This video is still a fucking masterpiece after all of these years.
Huge F to the roll annotations bit, a part that just added to the comedic scene.
So many years since I last heard this. I just love the voices given to each Robot Master, just fits them so well
Can't believe this is 11 years old. I think about it once a week at least. Praise be Duane and Brando
I remember first hearing this a decade ago and I still remember all the lyrics. This shit's still a banger.
Time really flies.
Binge watching all of Duane and Brando's videos again, and this to me is still their magnum opus!
5:05 certified eyebrow moment
I watched this so many times when it first came out that after over a year without watching it I still remember all of the words.
This is always in the back of my mind when I play mega man 2. I haven’t listen to this since I was a little kid. I’m not really sure why I all the sudden remember this but I hope everyone who reads this has a good rest of their day! Mega man 2 Rocks!!
still know all the words
I still quote this over 10 years later. Especially the "WHAT THE FUCK? YOU'RE AN ALIEN?"
I came here just ot hear the "I'll fuck you up, Megaman" and now I am hooked to this shit.
*Adventuria had the balls to have Bubble man not even have 3 sentences of rap back then*
*A True Hero*
So much nostalgia! This song made me want to play Mega Man 2 and turned me into a Mega Man fan. Still great!
Haven't listened to this in at least a year or two, but that Crash Man part pops into my head probably once a month. So good.
I still particularly love Dr. Wily in this, it's one of their few acting/rapping performances where they bring the character to life and it's so likable.
God I get goosebumps when he MegaMan says “I’ll shoot you down from the sky! You’ll never take me alive! with these metal blades you’ll die, that’s no lie! It’s just so fricken epic
I read this comment at the exact same time the lyrics came up in the video. Like word for word timing between my thoughts and the song. Wtf, haha
"You'll never be as smart as Dr. Light is anyway" also goes unexpectedly hard
As I understand it with Megaman punching Roll it's pretty simple.
He's an asshole. Megaman's an asshole, clearly. He punches Roll, because he's a sexist asshole with a superiority complex.
Yes. But a sexist character doesn't make the writer sexist.
Megaman's supposed to be portrayed as an asshole, at least that's how I got that part, because he's an asshole throughout this song.
How do you make someone an asshole instantly? You make them "Kick the dog".
...
Or something even lower than a dog. A woman perhaps.
OH SNAP I DID IT AGAIN.
Shut the fuck up its damn joke. They spend work in their videos, and they probably ran out of ideas of a Roll cameo, ts sexist so what. Sexism can only be spotted out by the mind of a sexist.
The Redstone Army
Excuse me? What the fuck is wrong with you?
One, I didn't complain. Two, "damn joke" has to be logical and well structured, which I tried to prove that it is, leading me to 3, WHEN DID I SAY THEY DIDN'T SPEND WORK ON THIS FUCKING SONG?
4, even a non-sexist person can spott sexism. A non-racist person can also spott racism.
5, why would there even need to be a Roll cameo?
Your arguments are void.
The Drunken Coward No seriously I CARE keep going with your self made bullshit
Used to listen to this with a buddy of mine on the bus to school every morning, split a pair of earbuds with him for it. Good times.
i was 9 when i first heard this, im 18 now - still use this song to remember the boss order for mm2, absolute classic
I fucking love this. I'm not a huge fan of rap, I'll admit, but THIS!? This is some amazing shit. You guys are fucking awesome. Keep up the amazing work!
Maverickhunter Rob We're not fans of rap either. Thanks for listening! :)
You could say this project is a (video game) parody within a (rap) parody. We were both in rock bands before this (hence the vgm rock covers). We don't /hate/ rap, but we don't really take it too seriously. Just a fun project that people seem to enjoy. Yo. :)
@@TheAdventuresOfDnB ---- Y'all should do a Metal / Rap song with MC Mega RAN....
Three years later and this video still manages to make my member harder than a rock, man.
This was a recommended, and man I can't believe I forgot about this. It's beautiful.
1:46 Charge mah power beam when I enter the room
N then boom ba-d-d-d-d-d-d-doom
Boom boom b-boom boom
3:39 --- Mindless Self Indulgence
"The name's Bubble Man and I've got something to say-"
DEAD
Best part
11 years later and still that urge to listen to that masterpiece from time to time.
This song is literally how I remember best level order for the game
"I've got more hot than a cow has moo"
Heatman's rap is my favorite haha
Lines from this rap have randomly popped into my head ever since I first heard it in 2008 lmao this is art
When I played this game, I started with Air Man. The nearest walkthroughs told me to start with Air Man.
Oh boy. Exactly ten years ago I sat in my first apartment, just moved in for a week and recorded myself and made a cover of this. It was fun to fool around with Audacity to make the different voices.
The world changes so fast these days. Always makes me happy to come back to an old favorite and see that it's still here and still as great as I remember it.
Dang tim didnt know you watch this video still as well
NintendoCapriSun the world never changes too much.
We are all here to fight for the cause my brother!
I am Matthew, And I Still Fight for All that is Good.
Yes I still remember this back in middle school
What a surprise! I knew you used to watch D&B but didn't expect you to be here, this song reminds me of the old LP era, super nostalgic.
