Nací en Madrid en 1960. Sólo unos trece años más tarde mi afición me llevó a encontrar esta pieza. Aparte de su belleza sublime, aún hoy cierro los ojos y recreo la alegría, el bullicio y la belleza de mi Madrid, Y llevo fuera desde el siglo pasado
Every time I listen to this music I become more certain that the cello is most beautiful instrument for this piece.
Luigi Boccherini, the composer, was a cello player. He wrote that music for an arch quartet plus an extra cello, which he played himself.

First time I've heard this played by a trio.. Terrific.
I have rarely seen a more beautiful dance than the one Stephan Goerner performs while sitting on his chair and playing his cello. Oh, and wonderful music too.
Far and away my favourite rendition of this piece online. Hard to imagine it's ever been performed better in the past 243 years. You guys are the real deal.
