Great interview. Dan was a real pro when he did university sports in Nova Scotia. I had the good fortune of listening to & speaking with him during those years. Very happy for his success. Another sports announcer with ties to Antigonish was WCVB's Don Gillis.

Dan's voice is sorely missed. I bounced between english and french feeds and I always loved listening to Dan. The enthusiasm is absolutely contagious.
Jack Michaels and Dan Robertson would be a great combo for the national broadcast for Playoffs and next years' Olympic Hockey... they best
I've only done high school radio( by myself no color person) and your interview with Dan was "spot on." I played baseball as a youth and thought I knew more than I did, but occupying air time in a slow paced game is a talent in itself. I did high school basketball and tried to do it like hockey (passing/shooting etc.) and it worked better (thank you Mike Lange) Football was easier, but when your team is down 63-8 at halftime and they run the clock in the second half was a challenge!
Those playoff calls were incredible back in 21 Dan really made it feel like you were there in the midst of the battle he has a true gift. I really miss him and Sergio what a great team they made. Unfortunately when you have the best calling your favourite team it can only get worse when they're gone. The new play by play guy sounds like a game show host with a speech impediment and the colour guy sounds like he's reading from a colour commentator hand book to 6 year olds but it is what it is. Good luck too Dan and love the show.
