I finally fixed it after 5 hours. I have a 2022 pc build but it shouldn't matter. go to settings on your monitor, go to gaming, then look on the very right in blue it should say graphic settings. click on that, and then it will have two options that might be unchecked. hardware accelerated gpu scheduling, and variable refresh rate. checking both literally turned my game in butter. I run black ops three at all the highest settings and it works 99% perfectly now. You will have to restart your pc once checking both boxes to make it work.

dude deleting the d3d compiler made it way more smoother it got me to 54-60 to like 70-73 big difference thank you

Yesterday, same settings I had 144 fps and today I keep getting 30 fps. Steam is the only thing open like yesterday

Tried this and now I can finally play black ops on my 3gb 1060 from like so many years ago with no problems. Even with Custom zombies
Went from 60-80 fps to 150-160 fps, W video man keep it up :)
I tried it the first time and it went up to 75 and then I re-looked at the video and oh my gosh it went up to 200! Thanks so much I’ve really needed this.

I deleted that file and went from 30 fps on low settings all the way to 140 on max
Really saved my gameplay before this I was going from 60 to 30 now I can run a stable 90 to 80

Im a Steam Deck Player who plays docked to my tv and on boiii client with controller and honestly this helped a lot, the deck can handle bo3 but it was noticably choppy on low settings now the game runs a incredibly smooth 120fps when b4 it was a choppy 90fps. Also the visual quality of the game looks sooo so so much better thank you so much ❤

For some reason my game runs perfectly in Zombies and Campaign, but the Multiplayer is capped at 50 FPS. The change happens as soon as I enter the Multiplayer menu.
So as of today I heard there was a steam problem? How it keeps checking for DLC’s and causes horrendous fps drops. In solo zombies my fps is 100-140, but in any multiplayer, it is 20-40. I think that may be the cause but idk how to fix it, please help?
thanks mate, it went from 45 fps to 240 fps. On my monitor the game looks crisp and runs fine!
you don't want to set video memory to 1, it'll fight other processes for vram and cause issues. if you have enough vram you might not notice any problems, but for cards like the gtx 970 it can make things worse. set to 0.9, and if you have a 970 set it to 0.75
What about nvidia 940 mx
my zombies is completely fine with 150+ fps, but when I load into multiplayer my fps seems to be getting capped at 50. Anyone run into the same issue, or have a fix?

i bought the bo3 Multiplayer Starter Pack and now i know i cant play zombie on that but when ever i try to upgrade to zombie he ask me to buy the hole game + the all zombie DLC but i dont want the DLC how can i buy the zombie only idk what to really do
this config works extremely well for my potato set up< i am forcing this game to run on a gt610 and it runs surprisingly well with this configuration, i used to be getting on average 10 to 12 fps but now i getting around 25 to 30 a marginal improvement.
i would run better if i consider getting a new gpu for my system, and maybe even a new cpu for it aswell.
I did this and there was no boost in my fps it ran a little les laggy but still running only 50 fps
Everything worked but when i quit the game to save my gobblegums and restart the app, the fps goes back to 60fps. In order to fix it i have to restart the pc and the game goes back to 120-144fps.
Is there a way to have my settings always apply when i close and reopen the game? (Also i have config at read only)

Well, in call of duty black ops 3 in the menu (only when I'm online) I have continuous fps drops from 60 (I have vsync turned on) to 44 and so every 1 second, how to fix it, I have already done everything, Yes, I also turned off vsync and so on same. I got a 165hz monitor and in game game I do full screen it only goes to 60hz but if I change the res or go to windows full screen it goes back to 165hz help

Dude, im having troubles with Black ops zombies, i can play but sometimes my CPU usage hits 100% and my graphics card goes to 30% and drops to 30 FPS.
My PC it's a laptop with ryzen 7, series 5000 and a RTX 3060, i can play it cool but like i told you sometimes it hits 100% usage and makes bottleneck with the GPU. Any way to fix this?

I guess it worked? the pictures/posters on kino are just gray rectangles now and the teddy bear doesn't have a face and it just looks uncomfortably weird...
BUT
It runs smoother than melted butter and it's not pixelated, I can see clearly and I can play the game properly so thank you!! The weird texture kind of adds to the unsettling atmosphere of zombies anyway 🧟♂️
Aren't all these setting all in bo3 graphic options already?
I have a 4090. If I change my fov to 120 will my 4090 still keep max fps or will 120 fov over throw my graphics card and lower my fps?

Yep same for me I had a 1660 super and Ryzen 5 3600x maxed out running at bout 170 or so at 1080p now I have a rtx 3070 with a r7 5800x at 1440 maxed running mostly at 180 but it just drops to 130 for a second sometimes and even when the fps doesn't drop it's just choppy and I stutter like fuck doesn't make any sense whatsoever
Now i know that the video is real cause that exact thing happens to me. I have a 3080!!! and my fps i constantly going below 144fps. Even at low settings... This shouldnt happen considering this game is over 5 years old and doesnt even look that good.
@@luxemier Ye I know what it is I monitored it with msi overlay when that happens the gpu usage drops from 90s to 40s or lower and cpu goes from like 30 to 90s it's the cpu trying to take over for some reason and it's happening on 1440p which uses more gpu than cpu it's badly optimized for some systems it never happened with my r5 3600x and 1660 super but it happened on a r7 3800x rtx 3070 then I upgraded to r7 5800x same thing idk it's so dumb so setting is going to fix it unless you can somehow find a way to limit cpu usage but I've already tried using less cores for the game in task manager and thread handle in config. But it seems if the game is open and like you get into a game when it runs for awhile it doesn't happen as after really so it's playable but not really

After these settings I reached 400 fps, it’s a consistent 240+ now on a 240 Hz monitor without stuttering, thanks.

@@jaceshetler no shit. I spent thousands on my setup I know how hz and fps works. My black ops 3 definitely hits 400 fps on unlimited, never said I was playing at 400 fps. Either way I don’t care because I have O stutters now. Thanks for the useless info though.
@@jaceshetler Yes you can with V-sync turned off. You wont be playing at 400fps of course, but it is possible to run more frames than your monitor can refresh.
