This is the most amazing miniature railway / railroad that I have ever seen. The automatic level crossings, earthworks, viaducts and the colossal bow string bridge are an enormous undertaking.
This is beyond impressive.

That is an insane private railroad. The line is just amazing.
I wish I snagged video inside the run-through shop (large brick building)… such an immaculate setup all the way around.

Was this filmed with a 360 camera? If so, which one?
This footage was completely filmed and edited together exclusively on an iPhone 11!!! No tripods, no color correction, all handheld filming with auto stabilization. Amazing how far technology has come.
On question did the club build all of it or did they hire someone to to the bridges, I have to know
This is actually a private railroad owned by one individual, all on private property. The bridges and all of the track were built and laid by hand. 😁

We've yet to see the full route of the g16 railroad
@@TexasRailfan21-RailfanRyan I’ve actually yet to see the full 16” line myself!! I’ll definitely include that next time. They’re constantly expanding, when we visited they were in the process of laying about another half mile of g16 out to the full size locomotive in the woods. It’s a magical spot for sure with no shortage of room for expansion

At a privately owned undisclosed location in Western Connecticut… I wish I could say more. 😂 Such an incredible spot.
Was this filmed with a 360° camera? If so, which one?
@@jamesrea329 Believe it or not, this was all filmed with my iPhone 11 Pro on .5 zoom in my bare hands (no gimbals or extra stabilization)… I was practically laying down filming, I’m amazed the footage came out as smooth as it did. Gotta give it to Apple, they don’t always make great products, but this phone has been more than I could ask for from a nice video camera and it’s always in my pocket. Come to think of it, every video on the channel this year was filmed with my phone, using the phone’s internal microphones for audio.

BMRR is actually a privately-owned backyard railroad at a residence that isn’t open to the public whatsoever, but there are plenty of live steam clubs scattered throughout almost every state in the country! discoverlivesteam.com or IBLS should have a current list of clubs you can visit.
